So I found this piece today
~if you believe she is a flower, then you must know she needs sun and rain. she needs more than just bright light attention. you have to sink down to
her roots to aopreciate where her beauty comes from. jmstorm~
And it inspired me to write this. It's new for me I've never written romantically before. It occurred to me while writing, however, that the love I
was expressing though was romantic in nature, could just as easily apply platonically. Just the nature of the enquiry would be changed is all... This
is why sometimes there is talked about a fabled 'community of lovers' because truly the foundations of civilization are to be found in the lovers
embrace, only difference being in how that love is carried out and manifested... Love is love romantic just has a bit more tacked on haha. Anyways,
said poem:
To sink into your depths
Leaning into your embrace
I hunger for every word
And thirst for your taste.
To see your storm
And face it with you
And likewise,
To bare myself before you
I want to know you and understand
So I can comfort you and hold your hand
I want to know why those tears fall
When I kiss them away
This mental union
Severed by no distance
Like a little red string
Connecting two souls
I hear you
I taste your words
I know you
And rejoice
