I was talking about this with a friend of mine. That some souls on earth are here for 100's of years and keep there knowledge in the old part of the brain. I have sometimes the feeling when i speak with someone that he is a young soul, because of the level of openmind'edness (spelling?) and other things i cant put my finger on it. Does this make any sence???

From the Biblcal point of view. People do not stick around when they die nor do they reincarnate. Your talking about different personalities.
I dont know if i belive that, doesnt the bible tell us that the only purpose of this life is to prepare for the next? it doesnt say afterlife, it says next life.
it is my belief.. that the energy that is the human soul is recylced back into new born humans, and that as long as there are new borns to be recycled into we will continue to reincarnate, and only when man ceases to be will we find ourself in either a state of bliss and peace of in a state of damnation

Reincarnation doesn't happen. It doesn't matter how much you believe it, it is not true. Reincarnation is an attempt to work out your own salvation. An attempt to not face the fact that you do wrong things. An attempt to bypass God. It's also not true.

To say that reincarnation is not true, based on the subjective interpretation of words written millenia ago, will not do much to convince others. Instead of repeatedly saying that reincarnation is not true, and labelling and judging those who uphold such a belief system, you can say, "According to my interpretation of the bible, reincarnation is not true."

God tells us reincarnation isn't true. God is the one saying it.
I'm pointing to what He said in the Bible.
I didn't write it He did.
People have to use their own free will to reject (and accept) falsehoods.
Sometimes things need to be bluntly said because time is running out.
Someone viewing these posts right now could believe in reincarnation. They may also have been told about Jesus Christ (the bible) before and are currently deciding which is true.
This also could be their last day on earth. They need to know the truth right NOW.

Which of the following makes more sense?
1. That your consciousness returns to live a number of physical lives, in order to live every side of life, and learn every lesson there is to learn.
OR
2. To live one life, in which you may hold the unfortunate circumstance of being born into a family with social and economic troubles, which leads a life of sin, which in doing so yourself will lead you to be cast into eternal punishment.
Accepting number 2 as the answer which makes more sense, is also accepting the belief that God created human kind, gave them the decision making skills with which they can choose to follow the currently accepted Christian doctrine, and also to refuse it. Such a notion can only be said to lead to the conclusion that God created human kind, only to eternally torment a portion of them, for their decisions which were made as a result of uncontrollable variables (place of birth, family etc..) and the decision making skills that God gave them.

Maybe it is in the DNA.
