I still wont hazard a guess for the greater implications (My mind is filled with sci-fi garbage so anything I start contemplating is of course based in just that and I become overexcited) but exciting times nonetheless when new findings come out that have us rethink our assumptions.

Yes indeed. This method of communicating would remove communication barriers associated with Inter-stellar space travel. I hope the research and experimentation continues. We might be able to pick up communications from other civilizations who are currently using Quantum communication technology.
