The Morgan's seals collection is one of the most distinguished in the United States and among the best known in the world. .....
Pierpont Morgan collected nearly three thousand cuneiform tablets, the bulk of which are now in the Yale Babylonian Collection, which he founded. The Morgan's collection also includes cuneiform tablets and a few outstanding art objects from the ancient Near East.
Between 1885 and 1908, the American collector William Hayes Ward assembled, probably on Pierpont Morgan's behalf, a collection of 1,157 seals. This became the core of the Morgan's holdings
if you ever in or passing through NYC - go to the JP MORGAN HOME / LIBRARY. he amassed a large collection of Sumerian / Mesopotamian items. Those two pictures are from the collection that I took on a visit there recently. Why was he so interested in such a subject? JP Morgan was a "smart / cunning man." Maybe he lived one or more past lives in Mesopotamia, and he was good at money, or maybe he didn't have a lot and was jealous of those who did.

You are asking why one of the most wealthy collectors in history, a man fascinated with ancient cultures, would collect artifacts from what may be the first civilization in the world?

Could you go into more detail...It would be good to have a way to access some of these past lives. Why not on ATS; or are you writing a book or will you post in some other forum?
thank you
