Three observations;
China should come higher up the list than fifth, making the other four not the top four.
The distance between Moscow and Vladivostok is not genuinely straddling two continents. The distinction between Europe and Asia is cultural, not
geographical (these were originally the names of the opposite shores of the Aegean Sea).
You recognise, I trust, that these distances are one of the
results of their power, not one of the causes. In effect, you are announcing that
big countries tend to be big.
