I'm just going by her correspondences. Is it not allowed to ask questions and get to know someone better?

It always amazes me that people on the internet pay no attention to those who bother to take the time to express themselves.

Anything else you'd like to add?

You seem to be confused, buzzy. When you ask questions it's an actual interrogative followed by a question mark. It's not something you state as fact and then backtrack to try and claim was just a question.

Example: when you start telling another poster they're heartless because they don't agree with your views on immigration you're not asking a question. You're pontificating about a person and making a statement, likely to shame them into agreeing with you.

Now I'm not really certain how you can confuse what you're doing with "asking questions" but I hope this has cleared it up for you. I'm glad that you can find amazement in making things up and ascribing them to other people. Given that you do it nearly every time you post a comment, you must be amazed a lot.

Sounds like a day for a job application to me.

Do they not realize theres tens of millions of people here who would work those jobs of they paid a wage that didn't require pseudo slavery?
And see that is the real american problem. You want a ceo salary for wiping the streets. None of you have ever realy worked a day for a real salary. Those immigrants who work for less do it cause they live within their means. They know what it is to suffer and they are glad for what they get. And if you have a problem that the owner "rip you off" with a low slary. Then i suggest you shut your trap and become a business owner. After all the owner took the risk that is why get the lots of money.

They share dozens to a house, four or more to a bedroom. the UK record is 40 people in one house:
www.standard.co.uk...

In my home city and many other UK cities, it has come to the point that international students were *paying* to get work experience for around £1000/month as interns. We also have the problem of offshoring and finding yourself training up your foreign replacement.

In the US is call importing poverty, eventually the government have to take for the burden of providing immigrants with benefits at the expenses of the weaning labor force in the nation.

The end result is to benefit businesses at the expenses of cheap workers and fewer jobs availability.

Skill native born workers no longer have the right to a good wage pay job and have to compete with foreigners.

There's reasons for everything geezlouise

The world is changing. Politics, war, economics, climate - people on the move

A Mass Migration Crisis, and It May Yet Get Worse

The U.S. faces an immigration crisis. But it has nothing to do with Mexicans coming across the border.

In fact, according to the Pew Research Center, more Mexicans now leave the U.S. than head north, and border apprehensions are down a whopping 75 percent since 2000. Simply put, fewer people are coming, and our border authorities catch and remove most who try.

This is not to say there isn’t a crisis, however. There is one, but it’s different from the one Trump thinks exists. It doesn’t involve Mexican migrants, and a wall won’t solve it. The actual crisis involves thousands of migrants from Central America’s “Northern Triangle” — El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras — who are fleeing brutal gang violence, extreme poverty or malnutrition. Roughly half of these migrants are women and young children escaping desperate circumstances, facing the real possibility of death or rape if they stay. Others are fleeing extreme poverty in remote regions where education ends at the sixth grade and families are limited to one meal a day.

Amnesty would cover those illegals that have been living here for some time now and work them into the system without having to go through the ugly situation we're all in in now. It's obviously not a popular choice

About Buzzy's post - I'm pretty sure she didn't say anything different from what you've been saying - she just said it in a different way. Same as I did

On topic - I'm not much of a nationalist Louise.
People can argue about what kind of citizen that makes me. And they do. It's not that I don't believe in borders or legality, but I'm more concerned with human rights abuses than I am with people's lawns

Yes, They Do Pay Taxes (from the link that Spira provided, from The Atlantic:

“We estimate that earnings by unauthorized immigrants result in a net positive effect on Social Security financial status generally, and that this effect contributed roughly $12 billion to the cash flow of the program for 2010,” Gross concluded in a 2013 review of the impact of undocumented immigrants on Social Security.

Yeah. Those illegal immigrants paid TWELVE BILLION DOLLARS in taxes that went toward Social Security that they themselves will likely never see.

So, please stop with the disinformation about them. Unless you have worked with them and gotten to know them, you don't know what you are talking about.

YEs they do pay taxes......Illegally. Its money obtained by a fraud comitter. they are comitting tax fraud by claiming they are here legally to work.

How foolish of us to disagree.

Yep.
Of all the people who are raving about undocumented immigrants on ATS, I know. Not necessarily "best" but certainly "truly."

And, so --- what are your creds and experience in this subject? With how many undocumented immigrants have you personally interacted? How many do you know on a social level? What has "informed" your opinion about them?

Take your time. Think it through.
