Presidential Executive Order on Enforcing Statutory Prohibitions on Federal Control of Education

This thread caught my eye because as a family that homeschools our children we have a vested interest in the educational laws and authority taken by the federal government. So thank you for the thread BlueAjah and for your diligence in researching it.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. I agree with the overall philosophy that education is best handled at the local level, but I also think that as with many things, we do not see the results of any changes made for some time, especially when it comes to education. The education of our children is a marathon, not a sprint, and it's important to take a long view when evaluating the efficacy of the President's actions and initiatives in this area.
