We just have to cross our fingers that FineMolds/Tamiya/Hasegawa/Trumpeter will decide to do one.

Japan seems to be the lifeline for this hobby. I'm still amazed at how many old molds Bandai keeps hot.

It's your phone. I did a quick crop job to show the image. The J93 is the top engine, the GE4 the bottom. Almost 70,000 pounds of thrust.

The fact that a 2707 prototype never flew is one of the greatest injustices in aviation history.

Nothing ruins technological advancement more in history than politics.

A bank of 6 j93s for the win!

Gotta admit the rear of the xb70 was impressive.

My dream is to find a testors or revell plastic model kit of the xb70 and have at it one day. Such a beautuful bird she was. Had a hustler model as a kid growing up. Mom threw it out when i went off to college. Along with my a10 kit i put together and did a sweet camojob on. (Was my first time using an airbrush. Probably looked like crap but i was 12 and proud of her. ) So PO'd about them getting binned.

The local Hobby Lobby had a Italeri 1/72 in stock a couple weeks ago. $60+ from what I can remember.

Its almost as if we were able to launch something relatively large into orbit clandestinely without anybody noticing but that the boom on the return couldn't be helped
