I have multiple sons. Boys don't sit still. Like, ever. LOL

However you did it, it was lovely and charming. You both have heart-warming smiles.

I've always had an interest in past lives

More hearing other peoples stories than my own, until last year......Meditation. I ended up on a beach, seashells everywhere, I'm certain it was in India,

Sweetie don't put your self down you have plenty of treasures to share. Any one as attentive and compassionate as you, no matter your years has truly lived. I am done being Motherly.

Now India and your meditation, that is fascinating. What a gift to actually see things.
Hugs in Bundles to all three of you.

It's interesting you both touched on the same idea - the opposition to my current state. Yet, I can tell you, as a child I had an awful temper. I do still struggle with it, but it is never anger at people, more boiled-over frustration at circumstances and my own ineptitude.

What was so strange about it was how sudden and powerful it was. It was an all-consuming, instantaneous emotion and I remember taking a gasping breath after it was gone. Then I honestly felt like weeping.

Just...strange.

Sorry I had to step away from the computer. There are too many days of physical pain or feeling blah where I procrastinate and don't get anything done. I just took care of my turtle tank and had housework that needed tending to.

Good to see you all, John, Shep, Kaelci and Wis! Very good indeed!

Kaelci, you always have something to offer. We all do in one way or another.

I love philosophical discussions! I remember, even as a child, sitting in the yard making mud pies or whatever and wondering about life, how everything came to be. Yes, I was always deep like that.

OK, I'm just letting you know that I'll be offline all weekend.... nothing to do with Mysterious Islands, guitars, beer and friends.... it's a.... study thing or something?
Anyways.... I'll be back around Monday when I sober up... i mean when the study group breaks up... yeah.

More like Will-o'-the-wisp. "Phil-o'-the-sophical." If you follow it, it will drag you down to the unknowable depths beneath...you've been warned.

Have a great time silly Sir Gordi!

Bird, LOL!

I can't believe I gave away some porcelain dolls and little stuffed animals and other things...finally. I have tons pf craft things and pics to go through next. OMG, what a project that will be! Maybe I'll start with something easier like cleaning my sock draw.

To be honest... the weekend already started!
One of my mates came over in his campervan so we could travel down to the Island together tomorrow... and we sort of... ended up in my local pub... and then had a wee dram for a "nightcap"....
So, I think I shall "hit the hay" and say adieu!
See you all on..... Monday or Tuesday... ish!

Hi Blue! I've been very tired all day. Tomorrow I get to see my best friend who recently lost her Mom. We don't see each other every week, so I am thrilled and can't wait. I won't be going out until 2:30 in the afternoon sometime. I will see you eventually though.

So it will be a very late lunch for me and my sweet friend, then a second hand shop and the dollar store.

Hope you feel better soon! We all seem to have our good and bad days in here.

Thats the thing, is it not? Accumulation of experience. Because I have been a festival goer since... well, along time ago, I also have had the opportunity to see a great host of bands in my life. I am perfectly happy just going to a festival once a year, and seeing loads of bands in a few days. I have been doing this, in one format or another, since 2003, and going to the same festival every year since 2007. In that time I have seen hundreds upon hundreds of bands, and I have no intention of stopping, until my body refuses to carry my pack, until my legs refuse to support my weight, until my eyes can no longer make out the stage, or my ears pick out pinch harmonics.

I have plenty of time, between now and then, to go to more festivals, to see more bands, and add to the library of sonic devastation that I have witnessed, delivered live for my enjoyment.

As for the temperature, there is little that is as aggravating as sweating without actually doing anything. In winter, you sweat when you work, and I like that. In summer, you sweat while you sleep, while you eat, while you bathe, while you drink, while you rest, while you urinate and while you excrete, and there is no bloody escape from it. It is a detestable circumstance to find oneself in.
