The roots of Scientology, like most American made religions, are so fascinating; a case of truth being stranger than fiction. L. Ron Hubbard, the most prolific science fiction writer of all time, also a naval veteran and former member of Aleister Crowley's occult Thelma sect (some would call satanic, certainly Luciferian), scams Jack Parsons (a founder of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory) out of his life savings and his wife and uses the money to buy a yacht and found the cult. Simply amazing.
Damn, you are one active Scientology detractor. Former member? Or have a friend/family member involved?
By the way, I only saw Part I of your posts on "Eyes Wide Shut". I can't wait to read parts II through 6. Will have to wait however, until after I sleep. (Also, I forwarded Part I to my daughter (who is a 22 year old art student and an ardent fan of Kubrick) and she loved it. Great work.)
I think it's safe to say we won't be seeing any advertisements for pharmaceuticals.

I understand that the "Church" actually produced an audible book version of the novel. It uses many voice actors, includes original music, lasts something like 35 hours, and has Hollywood quality production. Jim "The Sellout" Marrs has been pumping it in a couple of different interviews I've heard in the last few months.
