Ummm...please provide the requisite evidence to back up this...right thing to do...because beautiful babies...

Please tell me that you didn't fall for the no investigation blame Assad for the gassing game redux ad nauseum propaganda...

You know...the rehash of the former administrations failed effort to use this same diatribe and scenario...

Your intelligence is being overridden by your emotional reaction to obvious propaganda...

Trump has destroyed the world, brought about utter ruin to mankind, and has endangered the very survival of the human species. He has started wars, killed trillions of people and created financial ruin to those of us unlucky enough to still be surviving.

All within 3 months.

Wow! You mean I'm dead? I had no idea. Must have gone to hell then because this is nothing at all like I thought heaven would be.

Ummm...thank you again my friend...I keep having this recurring thought that...we're all in this together...irregardless of whatever this is...

All while repeatedly pushing either the escape or reset keys on my computer...and finding neither of them work as advertised...

Beyond all that...I wish you well...you and yours and all those hunkered down behind their computers attempting to communicate...hoping that someone...anyone...will listen to their voice as it pixelates across the screen...

That's the real reason...the one we like to not admit...
We all just want to be heard...
We all just want to have a voice...
We all just want to make a connection...

Sometimes that's all that holds any true meaning...most other things only endured...

to connection...may endurance be relegated to the long run...

Spent all day working on the patio and yard yesterday. First really hard physical labor I've put on my frozen shoulder, and I am PAYING for it today ... and all night last night. If there was ever a time I wished I had a pain pill ...

You know what's funny?

Syria is part of our (American) business when it comes to us dropping bombs on them and propping up a campaign to justify an invasion - but Syria isn't our (American) business when it comes to refugees and the likes.

Which one is it?

People are quick to jump to interfering whilst using the moral crusader card as a ruse for military intervention, but then quickly to denounce any responsibility or accountability when it comes to the refugee situation.

I'm seeing people talk about "the lesser of two evils," yet again.

This is the SAME talking point that's been regurgitated since (s)election processes decades ago.

But people will continue to vote because "this time, it's gonna be different! When we're gonna get that sloth out of office and get this country back to work."

Americans are so quick to forget. Obama ran on ending the wars, closing Gitmo, helping students with student debt, marijuana reform, transparency, and the other usual talking points of a politician.

We all know how that turned out. Trump ran on the same exact bull, and people ate it up like Trump steaks. He told the American people EXACTY what they want to hear, and imo, cobbled with the Podesta emails, what we know about surveillance of our populace, the situation in Syria, how people constantly cried that "they're coming for our guns," that ANYONE would actually vote and support this federal government.

But alas, here we are. The billionaire conman is operating exactly as intended - notice how media hasn't been in "attack," mode after the Syria incident - and nearly ALL "Trump/Russia collusion," (which for what it's worth I'm not sold on) has stopped which I find suspicious.

I'm flabbergasted but at the same time not surprised at what is currently happening. To those of who have been paying attention, we shouldn't be. To think that TPTB can be dethroned through the (s)election process that they own, through the media that they own (that constantly talked about Trump as opposed to the blackout of Ron Paul) - yeah, and I have multiple bridges to sell.

All in all - business as usual has continued in D.C. Hillary absolutely wouldn't have been a better candidate, but that's what the American people missed.

When you compare a crackhead to a child molester, they are both negligible and shouldn't be held to a standard of "being better," by any means. When comparing dog poop and cat poop, neither are better - they're both #.

Both candidates were beyond #. They were everything this nation does NOT need, and week after week this is becoming abundantly clear.

And now conservatives are getting upset that "liberals are rubbing it in." Honestly? After months of constant beratement of "triggered, libtard, snowflake, safe space," and talking about political correctness and "saying what you mean," now that group is getting offended... absolutely priceless.

Regardless - the American populace has been played, yet again.

Same lie we were told about weapons of mass destruction. Assad will more than likely go down as history as another leader of a sovereign nation assassinted by the U.S. governments military efforts through funding, arming, and training terrorist groups (I.e. moderate rebels) in order to instill a puppet dictatorship for control of oil.

And as per the norm, people are defending it to the T and embracing more military conflict.

Bernie campaigned on free education and healthcare and was shot down because "we don't have the money," yet now that same camp has no quarrel with spending money on more military expenditures.

No profit in peace, it's amazing how easily led the American populace are. It's a damn shame, it got us Trump elected and almost got us Clinton elected.

Regardless - clowns wanted more of the same blasting of the ass by both R's and D's, they made that abundantly clear through their votes, so America got what we want.

MAGA! MAGA! MAGA! By invading Syria!

I supported Trump up to this point. He was being attacked relentlessly by the media and the government.....but now, in one fell swoop, he's got the media and government praising him and his supporters attacking him.....a complete reversal. That and the fact that he's got countries like Saudi Arabia, Israel and Australia praising him tells me he's definitely f****d up big time. Oh, and the fact he attacked a sovereign nation without evidence or congressional approval.......

Because Australia is just like Saudi Arabia and Israel.

I thought you were all American. Seems some of you are in fact so anti-American you can't even tell what it means to be American any more.

Australia has had your back in everything. Why not put the UK, Canada (with a limp wrist), Japan, Spain, Italy, in the mix too??

Saudi Australia will not up with this put.

Mate, I am Australian and I'm not happy at all with my government condoning this crap.

Are ylu blind?

1) He has unilaterally attacked a sovereign nation

2) he attacked that country without any evidence presented.

3) He has attacked that country after promising no military adventurism.

Seems your Orange god emperor doesn't need any propaganda, he doing enough to justify people hateing him.

Seems like that could be said for every President going back to Reagan.
Remember Gaddafi ? Remember Clinton and bin Laden ?

It was a complete 180 for many Trump supporters it seems, but it is based on little more than sour feelings. Bombing the airfield was the right thing to do, and those who sat around and twiddled their thumbs, did nothing, while people were being gassed with chemical weapons, are complicit in those war-crimes.

Problem is, did Assad order this, or was it insurgents hoping the US would then take out Syrian air bases?

Or even dark parts of the US government with enough clout to do such a thing, just to get Trump to act, and thus ensure his 4 year tenure is one history will remember?

It's all still open to conjecture. Assad has used chemical weapons in the past, but to use them at this time, if he still had access to them and Russia had not done the job they intended by making sure there were no chemical weapons, it makes no sense logistically. All of my pointy fingers point to it being a false flag in order to persuade Trump to act in haste....

fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice... a fool can't be fooled again.

Ummm...in a nutshell you have succinctly described this whole sad affair...
The feelings are betrayal...demoralization...a sick sadness...accompanied by intense anger...

Sounds like how I feel about my ex.

Not my normal jovial...optimistic persona that I usually face the day with...no...this is something much darker...jaded and used...

Oh well...I wash my hands and heart of all that you've described...time to focus inward...now I know how all those Hilary supporters felt and feel...total demoralization...

It's all good though...I'll just focus on other things...

I just bought my first 3D printer and while it's a learning curve...I'm finally going to put all the inventions I've been storing in my head to prototype...The world can do whatever it's going to do...
Hopefully I'll get to enjoy some rewards from those thoughts transformed to rest energy before it eventually all goes to hell...

Thank you for the thoughts...

YouSir

If I had a 3D printer, I'd be making everything. the world could go on without me. 3D printer and slipknot. that'd be a fitting way to see the flashing mushroom clouds...

Heaven is merely the place you get to live life all over again, and the more you do, the more you remember, and become a jaded, melancholy ghost existing only to once more return and suffer the endless agony of life with 'god'....

It's my first time. I think it'll be a blast.

I think Barry did, actually, with his comedic sidekick Hitlery.

H: "Jumping jehoshaphat, Barry. I think I've worked out how to make even MORE money. We'll do *whispers into ear*."
B: "By Zeus, Hitlery, to the pedomobile !"

Nor am I, but I draw the line at being on equal terms with Saudi Arabia.

The guy who put us in the same sentence as that barbaric misogynistic cult of primitive but rather wealthy despots, has no idea. Just struck me as odd, really. We're not cutting heads off people for showing too much skin, or throwing people off buildings for who they love.

Our past may be a crap one, but that was not Australians. That was people who have largely all died, and an Australian today is nothing like the people on the first fleet. But without those people, we would not BE who we are today. Sometimes a fire causes new growth. Doesn't me we should go around burning everything, but from darkness, we can appreciate the light.

Trump is pretty much scaring me at the moment. I have friends in the US who are deathly worried their children, who are in the military but not actively deployed, will be called up to fight a pointless war, in a land that cannot be changed, against an ideology that will never be curtailed.

All for what.... so tomorrow we can fine new and different ways to cause conflict? problem is, human nature is ultimately barbaric. there will never be enlightenment while so many knuckle dragging mememe people exist.
