Because it's the right thing to do. Canada and its many pacifists would be objectively pro-Assad and pro-chemical warfare if they denounced the strike with pacifist propaganda.

Only makes sense for Trudeau to support it as well, since Trump has revealed himself as a Pro-Islamist Neocon.
