On Dec 2 2015 there was a terror attack in San Bernadino that had a key argument come up during the investigation. The iPhone used by one of those who carried out the attack needed to be cracked by the FBI. Apple refused. The FBI wound up paying someone 1.3 million dollars to decrpyt. I always thought this story was a bit off base. I mean, if we are to believe that the government can see and hear all can they not hack an iPhone let alone pay someone that much to do it?

Now, in the latest release of the Vault 7 information from Wikileaks we are learning that Apple has been actively monitored since at least 08.

According to what WikiLeaks shared, the documents state that the attack can happen even if the computer is locked down with a firmware password. This exploit sounds very similar to what Pedro Vilaca discovered mid-last year.

So if this is the case.....why did the FBI not have access to this to solve a case that surely other intelligence agencies would be indirectly involved in? I have often thought the reason it was held up is that it would have revealed at the time the movement of the third shooter but after so much time it faded to the back however the case for the third shooter is still open.

Because the cia had access, not the fbi...
And the cia was behind the event.

For all we knew, they just said they paid to cover up the fact they wanted a legal backdoor into the device and didn't get it.

The plot thickens. I think there is a hidden war going on and apparently the good and honest side has become tired of all the bs and decided the public has a right to know. This should not even be a partisan issue. This should concern all the american people. The whole DNC seems to be on it too.

That made me shudder. That's it exactly. Deep state wars.

Thank-you for this info. I was wondering why the FBI had to work with Apple and Google to get to the innards and history of the San Bernardino terrorists I-Phones. They always present themselves as so sophisticated.

Imo, they had to pretend they couldn't get into the phone, so made up the whole spiel.

You are spot on!

Although it isn't JUST the DNC! Add in the RINO's like McCain, Graham, Rubio and Ryan! This isn't just about parties, but a government corrupted to the core willing to sell out their own country to globalism, ie The New World Order!

Sadly, the division is too far gone IMO...... We as a society have been MKULTRA'd into destroying civilization as we know it.

Let's think about this for a second. Apple, along with others such as Amazon, have close ties to ABC agencies like the NSA and CIA.

These big companies can claim they had no knowledge of ABC agencies "backdoor access" or malware vulnerabilities in their devices, but when you are a company worth of $498 billion and $230 billion respectively, I would think you would WANT or at least be inclined to be on the same side as the Government.

Google is another perfect example.

MY bet, is that "not being able to access the iPhone" was a huge ploy to make Apple look like they were protecting their customers, and the ABC agencies look like they couldn't actually get through an iPhone passcode on their own, thus making the customers and the public more at ease and more likely to continue supporting Apple products.

All the meanwhile, Apple and ABC agencies both benefit because Apple gets to save face and ABC agencies seem like they can't intrude on the public's privacy. Sound about right?
