Fast Food and Mold

Check your drinks when you get a drink form a soda fountain.

There's sometimes black flecks in the soda (try with sprite first), it comes from inefficient cleaning methods and is often mold. Sometimes, some store employees will nottake the spigots off at night and bleach them, as they are supposed to. While the acid in the drinks should kill the mold, it's stil not what most people want to drink.

ugh... one less reason to drink soda all around.

What's a little mold....toughens you up. Makes you stronger. Builds character. Grows hair on your chest. Just kidding...pretty effing gross. My wife LOVES fountain soda vs. cans or bottles?? I think she's wacky in that regard....but what are you gonna do? She also likes diet soda laced with Aspartame, but that's another thread and I'll drop it....

The only reason I know all this is because I worked fast fod for 4 years, .
I have enough stories to make everyone not want to eat at a burger joint ever again. It's just that the soda fountain is something you can readily change. the best part is I know all this about fast food, yet I still often forget to check the fountain drinks.

....and no, aspartame sucks.
