I haven't read the whole book yet, to do list, but from what I've read so far:

I was laughing and laughing at the irony she worked in. That's probably one reason people thought it might be a hoax. If I were to guess, I'd say a 12 year old mind can appreciate that level of irony and wit.

I was wrong about claiming to read all your threads, there are lots and lots over the months that I never saw. I must have been absent that day.

Any way. There's a story that's been floating in my head for a couple of weeks. Finally put it here, Theist Meets Heathen

It really is quite a funny read and her penetrative way of finding a person's character and portraying it through a few well chosen but sparse anecdotes, quotes, or descriptions is achieved so expertly..

All I can think of is that Opal was able to really see through to the soul of things.

Thanks for the story. I needed a good cheerful laugh.

PS Ha, I was on quite a roll with the threads for a while there! Lots and lots of music with some misc. interspersed.
