My best friend (who is also an extended family member) liked to create "concoctions" using "plant matter" and fine spirits (like Hennessy VSOP or aged Scotch) - the taste of these things was incredible and aside from the 80-proof alcohol content the other intoxicating effects were almost magical in nature

as a matter of fact I will be seeing them tonight for the first time in years for a wedding - I will suggest we prepare a batch for old times sake.
