This one has helped me through dark nights...

A few years back I read Confessions of a Conjurer by Derren Brown which I purchased from a charity shop as it was only 50p!

There was one quote that always stuck with me and honestly did change my entire world view and in doing so, changed my outlook on others. As somebody who would have once upon a time most likely have been refereed to as an a##hole by even those closest to me, after letting those lines really dig deep into the back of my mind I quite suddenly realized that I should simply treat others with the same respect that I would expect others to bestow upon to me. I am aware that this sounds intensely cliched but it really did change my life for the better in a huge way.

That is so profound! I love that quote! It reminds me of Socrates saying this:
