Universe sandbox - A little help

Hi, im doing some stuff in universe sandbox, and i been googling also, im trying to to make a trail, but it loses its trails after a while, does anyone know how to keep the trail?

Without have played the game my guess would be make the object material ice and make it bigger and faster.
And have some stars nearby

We have that game on our Steam wishlist, but we haven't bought it yet, so we can't help you.

We always figured it would be fun to make a Nibiru simulation just to show why there can't be a planet X that comes charging in to the solar system every so many thousand years or why maybe there could.
