Check www.marsanomalyresearch.com... for some very interesting evidence on current and past life on Mars.

Right, I guess I found some sort of electric universe explanation.

This is a much better source for at least the physics of what's happening in a dust devil.

(Obvious this is not for you Phage you already know this, I just wanted to add this for anyone else interested in exploring the amazing study of dust devils.

Seriously though I have found mysel getting....caught up in this research. Numerical Simulation of Dust Lifting within Dust Devils—Simulation of an Intense Vortex

As shown in Fig. 2e, there is a great vertical gradient of the radial velocity of the airflow near the ground surface, which could cause the turbulent eddies to transfer the turbulent kinetic energy to the solid particles on the ground. Therefore, in the atmospheric flow of the modeled dust devil, there is a strong wind shear on the ground surface, causing dust particles to saltate and move along the ground surface.

The movement of solid particles depends on the interactions between the aloft dust particles and the airflow field of dust devils, in which the drag and the centrifugal force component on the horizontal plane are the key force components

So basically we have on Mars all the same forces and elements available on earth to created a moving vortex of dust. Mars has atmosphere and gravity, rock and dust, along with varrying air pressure to create wind.

So the next question would these Mars dust devils if observed on Mars move like in slowe motion to us?
