Welcome back G. Looks like you had a great unwind. Funny how modern life is so stressful that we need to go back to what it was like before modern cities and such just to feel....better.

I don't know if you had mentioned where you were going before the weekend.

I found a movie this weekend and I thought to myself, "I want to see what the Scotland Highlands look like.

The movie was called , What we did on our holiday"

It was a really cute movie. They didn't have that many view's of the area that I had hoped for, so I went on line and was looking at pictures.

Such a beautiful part of our world. You are very blessed to live in such a special place.

I heard some news about them finding oil reserves in the area.

I know they are offshore fields. But oil companies can destroy anything and get away with it, it seems.

Are you concerned that they will destroy your beautiful paradise?

Fabulous lunch at some nice Italian restaurant. 3 course meal for 14.95 and buy one bottle of wine get one half off. We only got one bottle though. There were 5 of us and 4 of us had the wine. My Sister paid for my meal. She always pays for me even though I offer to pay my own way. I get the evil eye if I ask her if I can pay something. LOL Food was amazing! I thought it was just going to be my Aunt and one of my Cousins, but another one of our Cousins surprised us and came along.

Tomorrow is my normal day out with my friend Linda, shopping and groceries. So I will catch you all in the Morning sometime. Next week will be my appointment with my urologist. Pray! I usually get bad news. I already know of a few problems I have so lets hope nothing got worse or they find anything else.

Ok, done blabbing. Looks lonely in here.

We actually already have very substantial Oil & Gas reserves in Scottish waters. (Rivaled in this part of the world only by Norway.)
Over 90% of UK Energy Reserves are actually in Scotland's territory I BET you've NEVER heard that before? (That's one of the main reasons that they don't want us to leave the UK - but they'd NEVER admit to that and continually keep trying to downplay the significance of that.)
The Energy sector here is very well managed, there hasn't been a major incident for many many years and most of the oilfields are waaay offshore, so no, I'm not too worried about the environmental impact of finding new reserves.

Just out of curiosity - how much do you pay for fuel ?
We are currently paying A $1.38 per litre of 98 octane petrol. 91 with ethanol is around A $1.21.

Tiddles would use bugger all eh ?

I think we are currently about £1.20 per litre (95 oct) and £1.29 (98 oct) (Prices in GB pounds)

Tiddles IS great on fuel. I think he averages about 45mpg? (I've never worked it out accurately)
You also get about 50 smiles per mile!

Sure are a lot of people missing, I hope everyone is ok. I think of you people all the time and always wish you well. I miss folks when they are away and always hope new ones may join us.

Will be leaving in less than two hours and won't be home until tonight sometime. So...I'll be checking in until I leave. After that, behave and guard the palace, er...shed. Jacy, I think I'm the ellipses Queen. LOL
