i was unsure wheather this should go in a science sub - or " fragile earth " - but hey - here we are
yup folks - 60 years after its initial documentation in 1953 - the rarest known south american snake - the cropans boa - has been captured alive in
brazil - studied and released back into the wild
the problem with docementing it was that the natives either killed them or ran away - so only dead specemins were availiable for scientific study
but thanks to an education program and poster campaign - the first live speciemin seen in 60 years turned up - in a bucket
