Body Count is a project from Ice-T formed to reach out to metal fans and deliver hard hitting rap / metal fusion to span the genres.
I saw them in the 90s at a fairly small venue and they blew my mind , pretty much blew my eardrums too as I believe they were the loudest band I've
ever heard.

Body Count's in the house

My favourite Body count song , Born Dead.
A mellow moment , Hey Joe.
I could hear that song a million more times and would still love it , Hendrix was a genius.
I loved the debut album. Ice T had a rawness that really appealed to me as a teenager. I still listen to his solo stuff and BC every now and then.
I've seen far worse actors in the biz too. Even his haters have to admit the man is diversely talented. Just to be fair, he is a bit of a sellout
though.
I agree , he has become part of the establishment he once railed against , can't help but admire a kid from the wrong side of the tracks made good
though
The debut Body count album was supreme , it still makes the blood pump even today.
I saw bodycount support Carcass at Brixton Academy back in the 90s. The reaction from the crowd was suitably hilarious, they pretty much
uncontrollably laughed at his gangster posturing until the set was over.
Never really got into Ice T as a rapper...people like Chuck D, Kane and Rakim made him look very simplistic and one dimensional although he is
undoubtedly the godfather of gangsta rap.
