Ben Nevis is the highest Mountain in the British Isles located in sunny Scotland , in 1911 Ford motor company thought it would be a great publicity stunt to drive their lovely Model T motor car over it , well part of it anyway , and they were right as it amazes me over 100 years later , I'll have mine in black.

This 7 min video shows the intrepid automoilers as they attempt a feat never attempted before.

They sure don't build em like that anymore , Wow !

Yeah, we've done traded ability and function for convenience and comfort.

Ford made some good cars.
I never had a Model T, but here is my 1930 Model A, with rumble seat.

Thank you for a great FUN unpolitical post!! So refreshing, being an American I know division should follow with the Ford vs Chevy debate. Great video...

Many people don't realize that the Model T was the first production hybrid vehicle. It could run on gasoline, or alcohol. In my research as to how it operates, it turns out the only knob on the dashboard was designed to adjust the fuel/air mix on the carb to allow the transition. 100 years later I feel the T is superior to most vehicles built since.
