I enjoyed John Wick. Kind of in the same vein as the movie Payback. With Keanu Reeves in anything, no matter how well he may perform, I always seem him as this.

Even before the meme!

Yeah the first one was awesome, some of the best weapon handling I've seen in a movie.

I also love how they portrayed the criminal underground, a structured professional economy trading gold coins, and the strict codes of conduct.

Solid 8.5

The design, photography, and stunts are in the stratosphere.
The plot, yeah who cares, Wick just kills EVERYONE

Hmm never seen the first one, never knew of it really.

But I see Morpheous has aged, and Neo seems to be a little more sinister.

Who replaces Trinity??

The first one was great! Weirdly you feel quite sorry for him losing his dog and all the point blank shooting people in the face seems totally justified despite being a ludicrous premise for a movie.

Looking forward to seeing number 2!

I just saw an interview with him and they calculated you get 1.5 times the kills over the first film.

Here is the song from the Club Scene in the first movie.

One of the best songs I have ever heard.

I use it in online gaming to pwn newbs.
I use it to relax at the end of the day.
I use it to concentrate while doing research and differential equations.

Versatile and deep, the song is nearly perfect. Haunting and fresh, the song is rich. Spacious and specific, the song is poetry.

Can't wait to see it!

I loved the first one.

I think that most movies today, even action ones, try to shove politics or ideologies into them.

I remember when I was young, and every summer you could count on a cheesy Arnold and a cheesy Stallone movie. No ideology, no deep message, just ten minutes at the beginning to quickly make some plot as an excuse for Arnie or Sylvester to kill a bunch of people.

John Wick brought me back to that.

Can't wait to see it myself, the first John Wick movie really surprised me as I had not heard much about it at all and just figured "oh...another action movie". I'm not sure if it was the music, atmosphere, or that Keanu's wooden acting method fit the roll perfectly but it still remains one of my favourite movies.
