NEWER BETTER TODAY PAGE!

Now, when you click the "Todays Posts" above, you'll find a new and improved page, using mostly HTML 4.0 layers.

The overall file size is less than half of the original table-heavy today page, and still shows 18 hours of ATS madness.

This is a sneak preview of the kind of optimizations that are to come. The goal is a faster, sleaker ATS that still looks great, but runs even better.


There are still some tweaks coming to the new today page, but it's ready enough for live testing. Let me know if you have problems with the layout showing up correctly in your browser.

It looks fine in Opera but the Author (Replies)(Views) colours may look better in a different scheme, and maybe but them closer to the end of the line.

I like structure

Looks great in mozilla but konqueror displays it all jumbled up on top of each other...

What the hell is konqueror!?!?!?!!?

Look at the source and ats.css... very vanilla, normal, very compliant HTML 4.1.

Of course, the entire page isn't 4.1 compliant yet, and my header doesn't state compliancy... so browsers looking for entire-page compliance may choke... and all 3 people using konqueror including K_OS

Hehehe...konqueror is a KDE web browser, (one step above text...no, just kidding it is a really nice browser that is able to emulate other browsers... chech the log in screen I have been on a Windows nt machine, a mac, and a pc tonight, even though I am really on Linux...Its downfall...
It has a tendency to Choke...lol, but with the other browser I will give it an A+...I'll fix konqueror to work with the new site so both the other users that have it...lol, can log on
