I'm a strict individualist in almost every way you can possibly be. But as president you do have to work for the collective.

Not Republican or Democrats, not Christians or atheists or Muslims, but for the benefit of the country as a whole.

So no, I don't think he cares about you or me, or any subset of America specifically. I think he does care about advancing the US as whole, economically and socially.

I actually know a great deal more about this situation than might be gleaned from my comment and appreciate the information regardless but I am not sure if you are agreeing with me or trying to change my mind or neither though I lean towards disagree if not change my mind.

That's not ever going to happen. I pay attention to Trump's doings and sayings and the man is a complete fool.

I know he will fight this but America takes the Constitution very seriously and it is illegal to discriminate against any religion and it's too late to, though he did anyway, say it is not a Muslim ban, though Christians from those countries may still enter.

Here is something Trump DEFINITELY cares about.

It was denied his request to immediately reinstate the travel ban by the courts.

Though it is still temporary, it is one more step in the right direction.

Just not in Trump's mind.
