Both democrats and republicans are giant freaking hypocrites: with a year left in his term Obama couldn't appoint a supreme court judge. They did the same thing to Bush on his way out. Both acts were unconstitutional.

Mitch McConnell is my favorite hypocrite, because he will stone face tell you he 's for something he was against a year ago. Case in point: he refused to accept any cabinet appointees until they were all vetted by the office of government ethics along with other prerequisites(all reasonable). But now he whines about cabinet appointees not going through fast enough and is putting pressure on the office of government ethics, which is probably unethical lol.

So democrats took the EXACT letter Mitch McConnell sent to president Obama, crossed out his name, put their name on it and sent it back asking, for the same treatment the republicans were given in 2009. Obviously the republicans are going to say no, because asking for the same standards from 2009 is...well reasonable. But politicians are shameless especially when no one cares to pay attention.

I look at it pretty simply, I ask myself if Trump was Obama and the republicans were the democrats. The republicans would be furious and in an uproar if Obama tried to rush through his cabinet appointees without vetting their finances and connections to multinational corporations.

Probably going to get a lot of "sore loser" comments, always do when Trump is put in the slightest negative light. Didn't even mention him until the end. Mitch McConnell also basically called the democrats sore losers. Asking for equal treatment isn't being a sore loser, it's being a reasonable politician(doubting such a thing exists)

I think what is happening right now, is that we are not being given a chance to actually examine everything that is going on, because we keep having "EO Bombs," and their subsequent fallout, from the White House (Bannon & Trump).

It is a way of overwhelming both the media and the individual so that keeping track of what is hitting becomes a nearly super-human task. It also creates chaos and backlash.

It will not get better any time soon, I don't think, as this is the method to Trump/Bannon's madness: keep punching until your opposition doesn't remember the previous punches in their outrage over the current ones.

Brilliant in a sort of Chaos Demon kind of way...

Sigh.

In regards to Congress, they are currently drunk with power and yet, being completely hypocritical, while crying that the Democrats are being hypocritical, and around and around we go! Where it will stop NO ONE KNOWS.

Possibly in calamity.

Mitch McCONnell is one of the worst out there. He's a despicable human being. Parasitic legislators like him are a drain on our government. Easily bought and paid for by lobbyists and private interest groups.. no loyalty to the American People.

# that man.

you finally caught on eh?

it`s not just the flurry of EO`s that is diverting the media`s attention, it`s those strategically timed crazy sounding Trumpisms that he unleashes seemingly at random that distracts the media also.

how long has the media been obsessing on the petty and irrelavant inauguration crowd size after trump made an issue of it?

Trump is playing the media BIGLY!

It reminds of the cartoons I watched when I was a kid, a criminal in a black eye mask throws a steak to the watch dog and then goes in the house and steals everything while the watchdog is chewing on the steak.

This is the tactics of the left being used against them.

Don't give the left time to set their narrative because they're too busy reacting to everything.

Lol thanks for proving me right. I don't care about democrats and republicans. I don't support anyone who gets away with bold faced lies. Especially lies that can be easily disproven, and yet people still support these idiots.

Signing executive orders without a plan isn't getting anything done lol. Where's all the money for this coming from? Was gonna compare him to Obama but that would probably just anger you.

Also, "Blitzkreig" of change isn't the best choice of words lol

Oh no, another Hitler reference, lol. Blitzkrieg means speed. Take it as you will. And how he's going to pay for it is by cutting back federal wasteful spending, as he already has been doing with some of his "blitzkrieg" actions. Cut back on the billions sent overseas and cut back across the board with federal programs. And balance the trade deficit with tariffs on imports. And, well, it'll come along.

Tarriffs on imports will lead to increased revenue for the federal government and will then cost American consumers more. That's the economic view point of both parties.

More alternative facts?

Blitzkrieg has ONE legitimate definition: Lightning war. A tactic deployed by the Nazis to overrun borders and expand held territory as quickly as possible. It will NEVER be possible to disconnect the tactic from those who most famously used it for nefarious purpose, nor will it ever be possible for people like you to get away with falsely claiming that it means "speed" and nothing more.

Yea facts don't work anymore lol. It's like "truthiness" became a real thing after Colbert left his old show. A lot of the American electorate seems to go by emotion and gut feelings now. What feels true as suppose to what is true.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was asked by Politico's Jake Sherman and Anna Palmer on Thursday morning whether he believed that Mexico would, ultimately, foot the cost for the border wall President Trump wants built on our southern border.

“Uh, no,” was McConnell's blunt response . . . .
