When someone is an alcoholic and they want to better themselves, they do the 12 step program of AA (alcohol anonymous).

These steps rely on Christianity to get them through the hard times and it has proven to work time and time again.

What if the 12 steps so to say were taught in public schools. Maybe not force church attendance but a tax break if you attend?

My parents made me go to church when I was kid.

And when I was old enough to decide for myself if i wanted to continue to go. I dropped that nonsense faster than you can say hypocrisy.

I let her go. She was a great mom to my kids when we were married, now she is lesbian, a gay bar hopper, has depression, is in fist fights, and is often very rude and uncouth toward my children, like a bitch. I heard her barking at my son over his phone from the next room last night over something trivial. She no longer holds a daily job, but cleans weed a few times a month to make her money( She has her med paperwork and is legal at least)

Again, 12 steps is not the only path to sobriety. I was raised to drink essentially, with consumption turning to alarming levels in my teen years. I chose cold turkey, and barely ever have even a sip of alcohol. I could not even list the 12 steps if asked to.

Bless the 12 steps for those who found success in it though... I don't wish addiction on anyone.

There is a reason that you are annoyed, just like my ex wife is. Has nothing to do with me. Galations and Ephesions will explain that one clearly

Its hard to experience someone being rude to your kids, especially their mother or father. Im sure there is love. Hopefully she will find something she likes and sticks to it as far as an income.

What if a person does not get that something that is planted to enter the fold? What happens to them?

By "fold" do you mean christianity? or any religion?

Jesus answers this too. There are many who think Christianity is a good thing for them, and so they go to Church to see what's the reward they'll get. They copy what they see other Christians do, and openly follow the practices and the rules. So, they call themselves Christian. Then, when the time comes to receive their reward, here's what Jesus says...

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? -- KJV, Matthew 7:22

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. -- KJV, Matthew 7:23

So, Jesus knows who has the calling inside, put there by God, and who only comes because of the "idea" that it could be a good thing for them.

The fold I refered to was the Christian Church. Of course, that's not the only fold in the universe. There are many things co-existing here.

As Jesus says,

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. -- KJV, John 14:2

Jesus prepares "a place" for the Christians in his Father's house, which, however, has "many mansions", lots of other things going on.

Who knows what other religious folds are in those mansions?

The Christian Bible doesn't teach what else is in the Father's kingdom, because Christians are only concerned with their future, not the future of every creature in the universe.

She already has. She inherited a duplex from her grandmother, and only pays $600 a year in taxes. She likes cleaning grass, and only working a few days a month

AA isn't the all and the end all answer to alcoholism. Studies find that 1/3 of people that get better do so with or with out outside help, 1/3 of people will never get better with or without help, and 1/3 will only get better with outside help.

Many non-believers can find away to substitute the belief in a higher power demand of AA for the concept their better/higher self or personal moral compass, love and commitment to family, etc., regardless of their lack of belief in gods.

Belief in "God" is not the answer for everyone.

The other disciples accepted him and taught the same. He did admonish Peter for playing games when other Jews were around. (Not eating with Gentiles when Jews were present)
You have to read it Bro, What you have stated so far tells me you do not have a full understanding of what was going on.
The other disciples were afraid of Paul at first, but shortly thereafter they knew damn well he was one of them, and that it was his job to reach Gentiles
