Yes i've always had this tendancy to believe that as well. He was unbending to the establishment and most likely would have carried out his plan to give free energy to the World had it not been stopped by the insiders.

What facts? He feed a dove? Are you on Scotch ?
Who cares what he spent on a dove, who cares if he had millions.
Most briljant people have eccentric habits

And again What is your point ??

I and the OP never stated Tesla was a saint.. but you seem to have some agenda to bring him dowm.

We all need money to live, unless you are a amazone Indian ( And even then.. you have to be lucky )
The absurd is.... I only claim he had a briljant mind and achieved some amazing contributions.
You keep wining about the fact the man spend money on a dove and lived in a hotel?

Any idear how Edison lived ?
Any idear how Einstein lived?
Von Brown... another beauty

Whats the relevance ??????

What do you want to achieve with youre remarks ?

( Go Ahead cherry pick your answer again )

Yes, Tesla was a true introvert. A brilliant mind. He did not favor the glitz of those around him and their wealth.

Could you please expand on the last paragraph for me though? What did you mean by you don't think a Man can understand?

all Augustus can bring is opinion
and hypocritical remarks
like

You cannot ignore the facts

when he himself ignores the facts

again for the intentionally dim

and would have ended up homeless if not for the $100,000/year that a foreign government decided to supply,

So where does a guy in the later part of his life get $2,000 to take care of a pigeon? Did his magic death ray shoot it into his bank account?

No, he spent $2,000 to rehab a dove in the 1930's which was a huge sum of money.

And again What is your point ??

That he did what he did for success and financial gain, not because he was looking to gift his inventions on the world. If this was not the case why patent them? Why not just give them away?

Stop your Tesla fapping and open your eyes.

You keep skipping questions you can not or like not to answer.

Now i'm confused. answer me,

did he die poor or rich ?

Lets assume he was poor...
Spending your last money on an animal... makes you a lot... but mostly a GIVING person.

Lets assume he was rich...
I've seen people buy houses and leave fortunes to a cat...

Better yet.. student in History, the Egyptians mummified more animals as you can count in youre awake dreams.
But I guess they ware also money loving overestimated lunatics.

Now with all the politeness aside.
What has the one to do with the other ?

Personal note: I actually like fapping on things that intrigues my mind.

All these assumptions, based on the experience of people who lived their whole life believing in fairy tales.

I just look at what a Man did his whole life, i look at the legacy he left, i look at what he offered the world, i look at what he did for a specie that wasnt his own.
--

But reading, that all he did in his life, was for his own bidding. Did tesla fight with his own Demons? Sure, like most brilliant men but Tesla would never have gone so far without without Edison breathing down his neck. He lacked most of the common skills to even survive in a modern society of that day and age.

But to make it into something Loverafty cause someone has ideals, i believe certain people when they knock on that door, is cause they lost the battle with their own demons and think everyone else loses their battle with their demons.
No, its just you who lost yours, dont blame everyone else for your failures.

He died poor due to his bad business decisions. Business decisions that he had hoped would earn him profits but instead earned others money. He patented his work to earn from it, if he wanted to give it away he would have done so.

So a poor man spend 2000 dollar on a Dove.
And you accuse him of being a fast money chaser...

Now that makes sense!

He died poor cause of bad business decisions ( fact ) , the rest are assumptions and opinions based on your subjective ideals.

Tesla lost his millions during a Westinghouse company reorganization, and from in his investment in the failed radio broadcasting company. But “not a mega-millionair” is very different than “in poverty.” In later decades his finances rose and fell. He ran an engineering company for years. His motor and AC-grid patents finally ran out. He was still gaining income from radio patents, and from the auto speedometer he’d invented. He survived the 1929 financial crash, and was still working on his steam turbine company (planning to put them in cars and aircraft.) Tesla apparently didn’t have savings, and spent all his income on his own research. Biographers say that towards the end of his life, Westinghouse corp became embarrassed by Tesla’s near-poverty, and so paid off his many years of back rent for his hotel room. The Yugoslav government started paying Tesla a $7,200 yearly pension (over $100K/year in today’s dollars.) Even so, Tesla still spent all money on research, refusing to pay rent, and at the time of his death was two years behind! In other words,it’s a total myth that “Tesla Died Penniless.” He was living in a suite of rooms in a downtown NYC hotel, and still paying many warehouses for storing his lifetime collection of equipment and writings. The truth was that Tesla did have nearly zero income, and would have ended up homeless if not for the $100,000/year that a foreign government decided to supply, seeing he was their national hero and all.

The thing is.. and i'm blunt about it:

I don't see Tesla as a saint or the inventor off all.
But the amount of downplaying on absurd grounds.... nothing to do with his real contribution or content.
Add to that: The wipe out of Tesla in normal classroom history.

I get itchy.

Now i go to sleep.

You poor hyperbolic man. I know you love Saint Tesla, I get that, but go back and look at your initial posts that he was not doing what he did for money, because he was. He got paid. A lot.

He was just unable to hang on to it.

Pills works miracles these days on common sense, maybe would have helped Tesla as they do for some today.
I would believe any man who actually did do common good each and every day, instead i find others who bash on a legacy.
