So I was reading an piece about Roswell and that it was covered up to protect Religion, and global finances. I will post it after.

I'm not a Religious person, but i have read the books. I don't knock other peoples gods, and what they believe in, and it takes a lot for me to say what I believe in. Mostly because people look at me sideways when I do.

But what I'm wondering is, what would happen if aliens did come to earth? What would happen to the major Religions? Would people think about what there taught?

I know that if aliens were to come down everything would change. But I don't know how it would effect Religions?

a reply to: KazberThe reason is quite simple really. Virtually all religions on Earth expouse that their god is the one god above all others. Their religion is the true religion and they will fight and kill for this.
Now up to yet nearly all religions have never had any sky dealing (except angels etc.) with other real civilized beings. It's not in their books or teachings. So in consequence how can they reconcile any other race that's not human.
How can they add a race into their untouchable sacred god given writings.
In other words if their god knew nothing about other being he's not the all knowing god they believe him to be. That opens up a can of worms to question all the other information.

The Daily Express is a rag

In relation to your question, I think there's many answers, all different because of the many different religions. Some would rejoice, some would kill themselves, some sects may kill each other and others may just shrug their shoulders.

There's been hints and stories for a long time on possible alien visitation, I don't believe however they would ever reveal themselves publicly, why would they? The human race is too divided and tribal, partly through nationality and ironically, partly through religion.

I disagree with you on the 'everything will change' point, life will go on as it always has done. To think we are alone in this and age is just silly

That's the whole point. I don't believe ET likes to be called alien.

I believe one day we could see a fleet of UFO's popping up in our skies.
I imagine that these entities will claim to be our long, lost brothers from
space.I also imagine they will claim to be concerned about our planet
and our population. Will I believe anything these entities will claim,NO
I won't.Many will be lulled into a false sense of space brotherly type of
feelings towards these entities.
I am one of those individuals when I see this scenario taking place,I am
running to the hills.I won't be greeting them,I will be watching their every
move with extreme caution.
As for a possible impact on the world's many religions. These entities will
probably pass themselves off as someone's messiah and another as their
anti-messiah.
I believe the occupants of UFO's are inter-dimensional,not extra terrestrial.

I would imagine all religions would fall. The 'Visitors' would probably say:

'You fight and kill over Gods yet cannot decide on one, don't you see, we are responsible, we are your creators and we have been watching from afar and here you are, fighting and killing, another failed experiment and with that, time to start over'

Ok, lets say a couple of people are all hangin' out. Each person has a different belief. Lets make it a Sunday, and they each came from there separate place of worship. Its at the end of a cul de sac. So Its in a circle.

The people are heavy believers, more so than just the Sunday crowd, but not so much like a suicide bomber.

Ok.. So they are talking after the services are done. They also have there religious books in hand. Then out of the clouds come big a$$ spaceships!! They land all over the world. When they are on the ground, little green me come out.

What do these people do? Do they run back inside there "churches" and pray? Do they throw the bibles away? Do they kill them selves? Do they not accept it?

I know these are questions that can not be answered, but these are the questions that go thru my head. And more than likely if aliens did come down they would probably wipe us out before hand. Mostly because we would shoot at them first. Cuz a scared white man with power to blow up stuff is a scary thing.

I hope aliens like coffee or rootbeer.

If they wanted my wife's Coke or lasagna, there could be war.

Well...they are already here, always have been. Dont go looking for some major event/announcement to prove it. No "disclosure" will ever come.

Theyve always been here and laugh at us killing each other over nothings and in the name of "God's" of whom we cant agree on as another member posted to you.

Youre one still waiting...well, stop it. Theyve always been here. The evidence is abundant....and we choose to ignore it.....

To be honest, it would confirm Christianity as well as many other religions, including Hinduism, Native American beliefs, Chinese and Japanese religions, Judaism, and many more such as Norse Mythology, Greek, Egyptian religions etc...

Matter of fact, the very absence of the "gods" and their working in the realm of men should concern people of religion but not people of faith.

But as for Christianity (which I profess to be) we serve an "alien" in a sense: (John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. )

And I, like most other religions are currently WAITING on the arrive of our "God" from outer space. This is clearly known from people in the "know" among religions. So the arrive of "aliens" so to say would confirm religion. The question we can play with is which religion is correct?

It is exactly what will happen and they will claim to be the ones who put man on this planet. They will put everyone under their authority and bring about world peace by their force.

They will claim that a evil alien is coming and we must all come against him and his armies. the Center will be Israel and Jerusalem in particular.

that will be the great delusion.

A lot of religious folk would categorize them as demons.

Some really entertaining/interesting conspiracy theories out there put forth from the religious community, regarding the "UFO Deception".

I recommend Scott Johnson if interested in something full of zealous passion.

Note: I do not support his beliefs or ideas.
