DC police, protesters scuffle outside pro-Trump event

Hold on it is starting. Protesters are already starting to stir things up.

Protesters and DC police scuffled outside a meeting of Trump conservatives. The demonstrators aim is to disrupt Trump's inauguration.

Protesters and Washington police scuffled Thursday outside a meeting of pro-Donald Trump conservatives, the first of several demonstrations aimed at disrupting the new administration's inaugural weekend.

The people attending the event were in classy dress and the protesters yelled Nazi and fascist propaganda at them as they entered the event. The protesters also damaged a motorcycle and started something that was unidentified on fire.

As attendees -- some of whom were clad in suits and red hats, others dressed in gowns -- entered the event, demonstrators chanted "Shame" and "Nazis go home" behind a phalanx of police. Some held signs that read "No Alt Reich" and "No Nazi USA."
Other protesters chanted against the "alt-right," "fascists" and "Nazi scum," though it could not be immediately determined who was attending the event.

I would imagine if things get out o f hand, they will have to clear the area. The protesters may think it is fun now, but LEO is trained to deal with crowd control.

Maybe our government should start up creation of insane asylums again to lock up the crazy people in this country.

Nobody should take politics personally, the whole thing is rigged. Both sides. I know people who are taking the election personally, they are on both sides, this needs to somehow be stopped. It is supposed to be civilization yet things are getting uncivil. What are the schools teaching our children nowadays and why are the older people protesting the inauguration. We have something seriously wrong in this country that needs to be addressed.

The police are already using tear gas, this is getting crazy and the inauguration hasn't even started yet.

I guess they were never taught that a peaceful transition of power is one of the corner stones of a civil society.
These little snowflake wanna be anarchist wouldn`t survive for 2 minutes in a real anarchist society.
Throw their butts in the D.C. jail overnight with the real criminals,anarchist and thugs, maybe that will put the fear of god into them and set them on the straight and narrow path to being a productive citizen.

I get the feeling that protesting is the in thing to do.

I would not want to be in there shoes when the order is given to restore peace to the area. If I were them I would leave now. The tear gas is a warning.

Nothing says democracy like the smell of teargas in the air and the sound of police batons busting protesters skulls .

Maybe if they keep screaming Hitler, go for a little shock therapy. Round them up, load them in rail cars and take them to the "FEMA" camps for a few weeks of protective custody. No lawyers, no cell phones, just looking out the inner fence at the guard towers. Need piles of "FEMA" coffins outside the fence.
