The Trump organization does not belong to Donald Trump. He has no right close it. It belongs to the Trump family. As an example, Donald Trump can close his foundation. He can't close Eric Trump's foundation.

Donald Trump has a fixed salary of about 1 million per year as CEO. He has a few million in his bank account.

The POTUS has a fixed salary even if the US GDP increases. Donald Trump's salary as CEO does not change even if the Trump organization expands.

sorry pal...I'll believe trumps tax returns, before I'll believe wiki on this matter...when your ass can be thrown in jail for tax evasion or fraud (remember this?...trump, ordered by court, paid 25 million in his fraud suit over trump university), your "truth telling abilities" on your tax returns become extremely "accurate"

Trump university was not Donald Trump's idea. It was Michael Sexton's idea and it was managed by him. Donald Trump never admitted any wrong doing and still refunded those students who complained.

Donald Trump has his own bank account. He is worth a few million. He is not a billionaire. The Trump organization has a net worth of about 4 billion. Donald Trump has 3 incomes, one as CEO of the Trump organization, one as an executive producer of the Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, one as the President of the United States.

If the United States gets richer, if the Trump organization gets richer, if NBC gets richer, none of that would benefit Donald Trump personally.

There is no violation to the emoluments clause.

This sounds like something Kellyanne Conway would say, or Trump himself would tweet.
And you aren't even TRYING to back up your declarations.....

no.

Wiki is extremely overrated. It is maintained by Jack and Jill anybody who wants to contribute, change, or tweak it.
The sources that are provided are the "primary material" that needs to be examined.

lol, friend...you're just spamming the board with pre-packaged bytes of propaganda. Around here we expect actual original material. You don't get to just copy a paragraph from your spreadsheet item list and not respond to what people are giving you for feedback.

This is probably not cool for me to do in public, but your posts reek of "script following".

Ohhhh!! So, you're saying that Wiki is kept up by professionals. Not just armchair contributors to aggregated information buckets......no.... So, in this case, you are saying that Wiki is extremely accurate BECAUSE people who are paid to keep it in shape ACCORDING TO THE PERSON PAYING THEM are working on it.

nm. he's gone.

he never admitted wrongdoing?...yeah, what else is new.....his 25 million dollar payout on his FRAUD CONVICTION says otherwise

Let's say the POTUS makes a great trade deal with a foreign state. The US becomes richer as a result. The POTUS gets a big raise. That's a personal benefit to the POTUS from a foreign state. Does that deal violate the emoluments clause? I don't think it does.

Simply a personal benefit to the POTUS from a foreign state does not automatically violate the emoluments clause.

hey buzzy, it's cool here, call it like you see it....something is weird about "ultimatewarrior4"..."he/she" sounds like something you would get from a automated "search and answer" algorithmic data base....if that is close to what you mean, or not, let me know.

A deal is not an emolument. A good deal means you win your opponent loses. A bad deal means you lose your opponent wins. A deal is a risk for both parties. An emolument is a free gift given by one party to another party.

If Donald Trump makes a business deal with a foreign state, that is not an emolument, and that does not violate the emoluments clause. If his deal is good, then he wins and the foreign state lose.

No it doesn't. Every POTUS does trade deals with foreign states. By your opinion, every president violates the emoluments clause. That is clearly false.
