Wikileaks also tweeted this today.

Of course what I'm about to say is all speculation, but could it (the investigation) be linked to the OP Wikileaks tweet by any chance? I do have my doubts regarding the integrity and purpose of Wikileaks though, but it's interesting to think about it nonetheless.

That Tweet might have been made with regard to him giving himself up for trial.
