CNN's only reason to put her on there was because the intention was for her to take an extreme position to drive outrage. Thats it. I think the point they are trying to drive home is that if the left can take any incident like this and tack it to Donald Trump as though he somehow owns it, then turnabout should be fair play. If the left wants to back up and cry unfair (something that they actually should have every right to do), then they ought to be intellectually honest enough to admit that there is a point -- if BLM doesn't own this, then Trump and Trump supporters shouldn't own everything related to a hate crime the left doesn't like because they likewise shouldn't have to.

I generally tend to agree, but at the same time, you have ladies like the one on CNN and the wider commentariot at places like HuffPo and BuzzFeed who seem to think what these four did isn't so bad, or at least isn't a hate crime.

How many of them are there and at what point do you draw the line? Taking the moral high ground doesn't work and they simply take advantage.

There are times that I get so sick and tired of being used to score cheap political points off of and that I want to toss it all back.

For the most part, I find ignoring works pretty well. If it doesn't rob them of all audience, then at least I remain blissfully unaware of their goings on. I implemented this strategy with Kanye, and it was almost overnight that the stupid things he said/did stopped making me want to punch posters of him.

Im going to trot this out again: Charlotte Iserbyte blew the whistle on the intentional dumbing down of Americans in the early 80's. The shift from merit scoring to participation scoring is an example of this. So we have 2 generations now who have been given a poor education on purpose. And the same people who helped execute that plan also helped execute plans for things like redefining the word "racism".

See my earlier post for the reasoning behind why some people say that black on white hate isn't racism. Of course there are idiots who don't see anything wrong with this, but we can't account for the 3% of our population that, statistically speaking anyway, are psychopaths.

Read through that article. The gist is: people hold political view points in the same regions of the brain assigned to personal identity. So no one will ever change their mind during a political argument. Its ego shattering.

This is why some people justify what happened here. Because it connects to their political views, which is really another way of saying, "They are having to deny a personal attack".

well it`s officially being prosecuted as a hate crime now, so once again the liberal media has stayed true to form and remain completely out of touch with reality, American values and ideals.

Of course they would say this, they know it will TRIGGER people. The more outrage the deeper the divide, the media is following the playbook perfectly.

I think that when something like this happens, some people stay silent because it's somehow being attributed to a group they belong to - even if that's only loosely. This happens on the left and the right. That's what I meant earlier when I said that would be a step in the right direction. Not being afraid to acknowledge what's coming from our own group even if it has nothing to do with us is how we begin to make things right again

It would be better if we all called out this sort of thing together

When Hillary said that some of Trumps supporters were deplorable - she didn't mean you. And she did say some. This is all about identity politics - and the right plays this game as much as anyone on the left

When you have actual racists saying despicable things - who also claim to be Trump supporters - and nobody says anything? Trump doesn't call them out?

Not only was this a racist hate crime, but it was also an act of terrorism. They also drew blood by cutting part of his scalp. That is mutilation against the person's will.

Does the meaning of the word terrorism fit what we see in the video above?
