Maybe you should try reading a bit about him. But I'll give you a clue: he's a businessman and compared to most, does pretty well at it.

Trump has made his own fortune and is entitled to it as he wishes.

Can we say the same about Obama? He recently finished the most extensive set of vacations at taxpayer's expense than any president we've ever had. I won't cite the various expenses, but he and Michelle seemed to love to exceed the commonly accepted rules for Presidential vacations.

I had to wonder when I read the OP if winter recess was ongoing in some districts.

At least in the summer I can be outside during my time off.

That's the one content subject type that ALL the ATS political forums (at least) share.
Spread the "joy" around, if we had to post all butthurt to one forum it would surely crash the system.

He and I came from the same neighborhood in Queens. I was born in Kew Gardens hospital. We were not rich.
We were I guess considered upper middle class but certainly not rich. Our neighborhood was families in similar financial status. In 68 my parents moved us out of the city and out to the island. Point is he was born upper middle class and got rich as an adult with real estate ventures.

There are thousands of successful businesspeople in this country alone.
And they do it without leaving a trail of bleeding contractors and a pile of law suits in their wake.

I've followed him since he was in his 20s. He was born into $$$ from dad... Then quadrupled it as well till now.

He didn't pay taxes for about 18 years. He isn't as wealthy as peple seem to think though.

Most buildings bearing his name, he doesn't own. He receives a royalty for the use of the name. He also receives a pension from the screen actor's guild. He has been pretty 'creative' in the use of his foundation.

He paid his own companies with campaign funds, some donated, some a loan from himself...he made millions running.

He has skirted taxes and regulaitons for decades.

For a lot of this, WE have paid him.
