No, the Podesta emails did not affect Hillary Clinton

The only events that affected the polls in the election were the Trump tax returns leak in September and the Trump women tape leak in October. The Podesta emails did not affect Hillary's poll numbers. No one gives a damn about email, especially if they are not from Hillary Clinton herself. The contents of the emails were boring. The only revealed cheating out Bernie Sanders.

I was a Trump supporter but of course the emails influenced the election. It is all we could talk about forever.

Your denial in admitting that the emails did affect the election by showing all the masses just how corrupt Hillary was and still is, is another important factor in why Hillary lost the election. This denial of responsibility for actions on the part of Hillary voters and Hillary herself, and even the Obama administration is why voters voted for Trump enough for him to win.

Smarter and more responsible people got sick of that BS. As soon as you and others admit this and change your attitude will be the first day of the beginning of your road to recovery and responsible living where you will then be able to contribute positively instead of negatively to your country.

At this point, what difference does it make?

Oh, Russia (if they did it), released a wealth of information behind the curtain of the Clinton camp. This information played a significant role in the outcome of the election.

-Media collusion with a campaign
-Campaign insiders recommending nominees accept monies regardless of legality
-Leaking debate questions to participant prior to events
-The DNC using religious/race based issues to marginalize competitors
-Collusion within the DNC to instill Clinton as the nominee regardless of primaries
-Tampering with primaries in several states to ensure victory for Clinton

In a decent society, Russia would have played no part in bringing this corruption into the light, as the media would have done it's job. However, as the emails proved, the media (in the main) were a willing participant in the very corruption they should have been exposing.

Russia (maybe) leaks emails = sanctions
NYT releases Trumps stolen taxes = transparency

People want to have their cake and everyone else cake too. The media wants to focus on Russia hacking the Podesta emails because they are corrupt and want the light off them. The Obama administration want to focus on the Russian hacks because they are corrupt and want the light off them. The Clinton camp want to focus on the Russian hacks because they are corrupt and want the light off them.

A "peeping tom" witnessed a murder. We should definitely increase patrols of the neighborhood to protect people from "peeping toms", but we shouldn't let the murders go free.

those emails did affect some people not to vote for hillary and possibly not even to vote. But it did not have a real time affect on voting and the results thereof.

the lie is that those emails came from Russian hacks.

The FBI said the CIA (more likely someone in the FBI gave them up) gave those emails to wikileaks not the Russians plenty of threads on it since that story broke.

While we have a lot of Russian hacking to the USA manly towards the govt sites, tech sites and medical sites. Most of it was to gain SS#' Bank account info, and Identities. But UAE, China, Eastern Russia, Croatia, Iran, Russia and many individuals are also targeting hacks into the US Everyday for many years now. And those in the US are trying to hack them.

Polls were intentionally over-sampled as indicated in the Podesta e-mail leak. Pointing to poll numbers is most likely invalid evidence of your argument as the poll numbers themselves are likely invalid.

I know a lot of folks who changed from Hillary to Trump because of the email dumps by wikileaks, and even some after Seth Rich was murdered changed to Trump. I see it as having a big affect on the final voter counts going against Hillary.

I also do not believe Russia did anything to make those leaks occur. I also know that the usual hacks that do happen are espionage related to technology and things that hackers can use to make money with.

Donna Brazile and Debbie Wasserman Schultz might disagree.

I think that many suspected the Clintons were corrupt but weren't sure. The emails confirmed it and exposed even more shady dealings, including cheating Sanders out of the nomination by collusion of Wasserman-Shultz and the DNC hacks. When Hillary looked so prepared during the debates it was because she was reading a well prepared script based on information from another waste of space, Donna Brazile. This information influenced many voters that I know.

The DNC was built on lies and deception and I hope that they can clean house and return to being the party of the common man.

the polls? lol haven`t you figured it out by now all those polls were fake they didn`t even get close to predicting the winner. those polls were completely made up by the MSM. those polls are were the biggest fake news story of the whole election but nobody is talking about it.

I would have never voted for the Clinton's in a million years anyway. But the the emails confirmed what I already knew. She just kept lying about the emails and minimized the significance. She insulted her voters intelligence thinking they wouldn't catch her lying left and right.

This may have worked last century when nobody knew how to use computers. Now information is available in minutes with very little effort. You can go back and see what the actual facts are. She lies continuously. If her lips are moving she's lying. No reason to listen to her as whatever she says is only what is needed, to further her dark agenda. She doesn't care if what she is saying is a lie or not. Unfortunately, neither do her emotionally challenged voter base.

With the computer you can find out just what has happened to regular people that mishandled classified documents. They were put in jail without batting an eye.
