OMG yes, it's soooooo annoying!!!!!

Even worse is when they were the weakest link in your party and now they're suddenly badass.

It's like, serious props dude, you're so damn dedicated to pretending to be my weak ass side kick that you're willing to not only get us all killed, but die yourself rather than pulling out all these kick ass powers you supposedly had. Not two minutes ago a slime trounced your ass but now you're absorbing fireballs and mauls to the face like a boss.

That's some serious method acting dude. Well except where despite all this, you're still clearly the bad guy.
