His biggest mistake would have been getting involved in a Pay to Play scheme, such as hunting trips with Donald Jr. for $500,000 and face time with PresidentElect for $1,000,000. Good thing the notion got dropped.

Especially after all the outrage about the clinton Foundation.

It hasn't happened yet technically.

Trump has been pretty well vetted by his years in the public spotlight.
Presidents have only so much "real" autonomous power.
Think of all the possibilities for creative choreography though, he does not have the usual predictable limits of most public leaders. What would be out of character for Trump?

The state owned Bank of China is a tenant in Trump Tower. China is a boogeyman Trump uses to direct public attention. Nothing more nothing less.
