There are alot of actors I like. However, I don't really consider them actors, because in every movie they come in, they present the same character type.

It's almost as if these actors just go into the movie and play themselves. Part of it is "type casting" by Hollywood, putting them in the same types of movies, but it's partly that they are stuck in their own character type themselves.

But, Jamie Foxx is a true actor. He transforms his character into something completely different in each movie.

For example, In the movie "Ray Charles" he completely transforms into Ray, and the "Ray" character is quite different from the personality "Jamie". So, it's real acting.

High up on the list of comic actors must be the late lamented Ronnie Barker.
