Civil war if the Electoral College chooses Hillary, who has what? 2 million more votes then Trump.
a reply to: Annee

Yes dear ... but those supposed 2 million extra are what we could call ....

Unarmed Voters

I suggest you use them to try and run the other side out of ammunition!

You have no idea about what such a conflict would be like!

My bait? Whatever doom porn lets you sleep at night pushing civil war.

You're purposefully twisting my meaning.

I don't want war.

I'm warning you about war.

I don't suffer from normalcy bias. You seem to think everything is fine and this is just a political debate. It isn't.

I think the problem is that you are talking to a Democrat and it appears they are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, as it were.

They have forgotten history.

The LAST time the Democrats pushed a civil war they had their butts handed to them. They have forgotten this.

American Civil War

I mean look at them now, all raging and trying to upset the apple cart.

I haven't seen them this upset since we took away their slaves.

Trump should refuse to accept the presidency. He lost the popular vote and his acceptance of the Presidency would be a disaster for Democracy.

One thing’s for sure, Putin has every right to want a friendly--towards Russia--president.

I mean, the US has a history of intervening in countries elections for decades. Isn't that right right-wing Trump supporters.

Right wing Trumper's being all for Russia and Putin...isn't that weird

Strange bedfellows hey!

Trump was told many times by Obama and Clinton, and the entire media establishment that he needed to accept his loss. That he was losing, and he should shut up and wait for the inevitable.

Now that he won these same people are doubling down on a conspiracy theory in order to upend a legitimate election because it didn't go their way.

ya'll love to brag about your guns and how many you have, AND, your safe spaces and hidey holes.

You're under the impression that I want war on my block. I do not. I've seen first hand what war does to people. I want my kids to grow up in a stable nation. I want them to go to Mars and to colonize the rest of the solar system. I want us to come together and actually do something about the threats we face as human beings.

I give two #s about the guy at the podium.

But if the tactic is to use an unsubstantiated claim to destroy the results of an election we can't have that.

All I have read is they claim the intelligence community (which apparently has a lot more organizations than I ever knew about) figured it out because code blocks matched up with a Russian hack of other countries previously.

Now call me crazy, but had I been caught previously breaking into a country's secure data, and being that I was smart enough to do that, I believe I would write some new code to do it the next time.

If it is indeed a code block that is the evidence then I would look to those that found the exploit in the first place and who they distributed that information to. It would be quite easy to just re-use that block in a chunk of code and blame it on whomever originally wrote that code right? Or is that above the intelligence communities head to think that a hacker group smart enough to break into secure servers would be smart enough to lead them down a false trail?

If both the CIA and FBI are in agreement that Russia intervened in the election and their goal was to get Trump elected then that makes the election illegitimate.

But I agree, if they have proof they should come out and present it to the country and Electors before Monday.

You're purposefully pushing the blame (scapegoating) to "the left," while pulling the victim card about how you've been called hurtful names.

It's the left and their institutions pushing this Russian conspiracy theory.

You're warning us about a war? I don't believe in that BS. The true enemies to this nation are those involved in high level government.

Oh? And we're willing to believe them when they say the Russians installed Trump? That's an interesting bit of irony.

But by all means continue to place partisanship over country.

Not interested in parties.

But yeah, it's all the libtards fault lol.

I don't use those terms.

People have been brewing hatred against their fellow Americans for awhile. This is nothing new.

And now it's coming to a climax. First brew the division, then wait for the right moment. People want to blame Russia for our destruction but it seems we are more than willing to do it ourselves.

I completely agree. Something this big requires solid evidence regardless of the exposure of methodologies. This is about us as a nation.

Your article doesn't say that. If that were the case we would have the president along with comey and the head of the CIA formally accusing Russia of throwing an election. That hasn't happened.

Whats even more interesting is it was posted just prior to Obamas press conference where he made statements that run counter to what the Washington Post said. Secondly the FBI already concluded Trump had no links to Russia and that there is no evidence to support the claims made in the article.

More fake news... on a Friday... when Obama is leaving on vacation.. with the electoral college vote on Monday.

Nothing fishy there.

I do not believe, in a New York minute, that there are not individual hacks or small groups of them, in both Russia, and certainly in the US itself, that could not pull off a hack of the DNC, or just about any electronic infrastructure that exists anywhere, if they directed their intellect, expertise, time and diligence to that endeavor.

I do not even have to point out all of the places they have successfully breached the "best" cyber security in buisiness as well as governments in the past, and up to this point in time. You can read about them all ad nauseum. They are out there, and to state that Putin would have to be involved, because he controls everything in Russia, is just bollocks, as much as saying that Obama would have to be involved, if we were to do such things in Russia.

Those that can cyber-hack like this are some of the smartest people in the world, and probably, some of the most disillusioned and dangerous. They do not have a country, really. They revel in causing change, because they can.

That, in a nutshell, is the danger this world faces, and our technology cannot fix it, because these people are also involved in the development of much of that technology, in their 'day' jobs.

So who should get it....Hillary conceded already. Oh wait...they're both (now) politicians and they flip flop on things.

Let's see....I don't think I need to bring up HRC's views on gay marriage over the years do I?

okay, well

saying things like this-

This is exactly what the left in this country wants. Utter chaos, the destruction of American institutions, and eventually the deaths of all who oppose them.

probably not the best way to "come together". lol

i'm hopeful they'll release the evidence they have. maybe at that time we can have real conversations about this and not just mud slinging.

Now we're getting somewhere. I find this fascinating because I know nothing about this world of cyber espionage.

So are you saying that the U.S. is seeing evidence of a break-in using a code from a previous Russian sanctioned break-in so they are saying it has to be them?

Or, if I'm understanding your post correctly, it would make little sense for the Russians to use a same code more than once because it would be like leaving the same fingerprints on a second crime scene that would obviously implicate them in both?

Is it possible that the first code was either stolen from the Russians or sold by (perhaps a disgruntled or greedy) tech person within the Russian government for the third party to use for whatever it was they were going to use it for?

I apologize if my questions are stupid.... but the extent of my understanding of "codes" is more or less limited to formulas in Excel and getting my emulators-roms to talk to eachother.

You're warning me of war if your candidate isn't elected? Call me not surprised. I don't even support Hillary rofl. How disconnected will Trump supporters get?

I'm not loyal to Trump.

I'm loyal to the US and her people. All of them.

If the establishment is so hell bent on upending a legitimate election based on nothing more than unsubstantiated accusations like our OP is making ("Putin's Puppet" for example) you will get chaos. Guaranteed.

I understand you're guarantying chaos, but I'm just trying to point out the irony it's to stop chaos.

Conversations prevent wars. Point and case, you went online and said "This will cause a war!!!" as a method to rally to your point, and I disagree with almost none of the notions of having a fair democracy, but the idea of a war solving this issue is beyond idiotic. Democracy, invented after conversation, was also to prevent and preclude war. You can claim you 'care' but your general plan of action sounds like just killing people who don't support Trump, and supporting that action through satellite organizations. There isn't an 'Army' of people opposing you, just ordinary citizens that maybe didn't vote for Trump. Let's kill them! Are you prioritizing a certain order? Like Hillary, then Stein, then Johnson? People that didn't vote but have liberal values should probably be put in camps too.
