Well, this could get interesting.
Right now it's just this one guy, but I wouldn't be surprised if Home-grown Paki Jehadis start following the lead.
But, I think the Paki Jehadis can't do much without the help of the Paki Army, and Musharaf is the head of the Army. So this may just be some empty Rhetoric.

I'd rather have a marginally sound-headed Military dictator minding Paki Nukes than some Crazy Extremist Terrorist.
Should that happen, it wouldn't be too long before the Nukes go to the Jehadis, and that's scary for both India and the US.

But on the other hand, what you said makes sense in the long run. If a radical is stupid enough to use them, Pakistan would get vaporised (along with most of the world's terrorists).

Not being supportive of any dictator seizing power, I must say Musharraf is the best of the bunch, with A Q(Abdul Qadeer) Khan network still posing an absolute threat to proliferation and mujahideen sympathizers within the ISI and descending ranks, patiently plotting their next ambush, one can fairly surmise that Pakistanis well-being is tantamount to their measures to protect the general from assassins.
