That is the exactly the game being played.
I suspect the recounts were organised to strip away votes to get Trump as close to 270 as a starting point before the faithless electors kicked in. That failed, so yes, it's still 37 that they need for the plan to work.

The question is whether they have someone lined up for the House vote if they do get 37.

37 is a tall order, but if they can bribe/threaten enough to get close it may be just enough. January 6, Congress counts the electoral votes, and has the power to 'object' a vote and cancel that vote out. ETA: Congress can even object to an entire state's electoral votes, and cancel out scores of electoral votes.

If it's not Hillary, it will be Jeb in my opinion.

My money's on Paul Ryan as an interim president until Trump gets in, assuming the electoral votes are delayed or recounted. The TPTB behind Clinton/Bush want their war with Russia at all costs - Ryan is an establishment crony and Vatican shill, and if Trump is successfully delayed, Ryan will likely push us into a war with Russia in the event that we don't start one already beforehand. We will lose quickly WW3 and decisively, with Russia / China overwhelmingly being declared the victor. This will facilitate Trump assuming office and working to rebuild our friendship and cooperation with Russia to reform the UN to "never allow this to happen again". We'll see what happens...

Amazing that the CIA can't even be bothered to update Congress, but someone feels comfortable updating the Washington Post. I wonder will they have time to brief the electors?

You would think this whole brief the electors idea would be nixed at this point:

and nothing will be said by the establishment media in hopes that this story will disappear. If not the electors would be briefed which intel 16 other spy agencies don't back. Brennan should walk the plank for this.

Right now Brennan is the cheese that stands alone.

This is ridiculous, how is this still in the top few stories on CNN? (as if I didn't know...)

1. This all stems from a Washington Post story.
2. There has been NO confirmation from any agency that there's even evidence to support the claim.
3. We already KNOW the source of the emails from Wikileaks. That narrative hasn't changed since it was introduced. And it ISN'T Russia.
4. Accusing a foreign government of meddling, especially when said government is the second scariest nuclear power in the world, is downright irresponsible, if not war-mongering.
5. Now Obama is ordered to march in and maintain this nonsense?
6. It wouldn't even matter if the Russians DID hack it...because it is the CONTENT of the emails that influenced the election, the DNC's ACTIONS, not the hack itself.
7. Just like the recount nonsense, this can only backfire spectacularly....
