Recurring pattern in my dream

I've been having a recurring pattern in my dream the past week or so. My dreams have been different but the pattern will show up a few times during my dreams. The pattern typically consist of a 6x6 matrix that is filled with animals and humans. Sometimes these animals and humans are cartoons, sometimes they are realistic. The animals and humans will change sometimes but they always face another similar human or animal. One of the animals I saw was a Mandrill and it was facing another Mandrill. From the humans I saw they typically presented a positive emotion.

Not an answer for you...but get them all the time myself. Sometimes they repeat exactly...other nights..things pickup where they left off. Odd, huh?

I have been told that our waking world isnt the real one. Our world is where we dream....
