this is gonna be fab....i am stoked to see how they portray the east india company....im fascinated by that company. have a couple good books on them....



i think tom is gonna own this one.....just like he did as alfie solomons in peaky blinders

IMO you cant go wrong with Tom Hardy or Michael Shannon. Two of the best actors out there , and part of the few that dont need special effects to carry them.

that east india mob sabotaged Scotlands darien scheme forcing us into poverty and famine and thus Scotland were forced into the abusive marriage of the UK (at the time England were at war with napoleons France and needed there northern border secure), but hey i dont hold grudges it was only 300 odd years ago.

its amazing how this stuff is still happening, the world amuses me.

so i watched it Sun.
starts tonight in the states.

not much happened so far. a pretty slow type burn.
that said they definitely set the scene for tom hardy to # stuff up. it is already clear that it is widely known that he is not to be messed with.
i think it will shape up to be very good.
