That sound's like a classical haunting site, my experience was very subjective and I have tried to convince myself of everything from being doped by former friend's to maybe I was just cracking up under stress but if I am honest I know what I encountered was very real and not a classical haunting but definitely paranormal.

Now ghost car's, ghost pedestrian's often were there has been an accident are fairly well known and these of course are more recently deceased, there are several readily available account's on a quick search of the net such as this.
www.telegraph.co.uk...

I for one have heard similar account's to yours as well, none like my experience which was probably more demonic than ghost in nature but plenty similar to your own so you are definitely not alone in that experience.

Burn some sage and bury some clear quartz chunks. They'll absorb energy.

That's all I got.

How about a frog sacrifice. Just stretch that little sucker out and gut him like a pig. All the while singing a little home made chant to the Frog God. Then return every other night leaving tastefully decorated creepy stuff like dolls with pins and other little nasty nic nacs etc. Hey the OP can create his/her own little urban legend!

Are you a psychopath or simply cruel & criminally insane? Don't bother to answer.

Grew up pretty much alone. Spent lots of time in the woods and tortured a few animals. No big deal really. Hey, I could have been a serial killer.
Psychopath, criminally insane...I don't mind, you choose. It's all good.

I've had several brief interactions in the threads with you, and generally find you to be a balanced and intelligent person. So I'm not trying to pick a fight, or put you on the defensive.

However, I am confused about your statements regarding "ritualism" and healing. (I wonder if I'm taking something from your words that you did not intend.)

Some would have it that ritual - series of actions or type of behavior regularly followed individually or institutionally - is the only thing that gives our lives meaning: it provides or at least facilitates stability.

You also stated: Healing is not a matter of words. I'm wondering if this has any basis, because from psychotherapy to chanting to prayer and beyond, science (particularly psychoacoustics, from my personal reading) has strongly suggested, if not proven outright, the healing effects of the language, intent, and the human voice, especially when combined with music. Perhaps the cleansing of sites of traumatic or horrific events is a stretch too far in this regard, but many think not. (Personally, I am agnostic in the matter.)

You bring up some points in your post which I think it is worth addressing.

First, you are absolutely on the money when you say that some human beings benefit from ritualism, music, certain words at certain cadence, and a whole host of other psycho-conditioning techniques which have been proven effective by various studies, researchers, and so on.

However, not only does ritual not work for everyone, but it works for human beings because the meat of their brains is wired in a certain way. It has next door to nothing to do with the soul, to do with the spirit. It is merely a tool to rewire the neural pathways of the brain, in order to achieve a certain state of mind.

With that firmly understood, the issue the OP revolves around is one in which the problem area appears to be some sort of haunting like experience, which necessarily means that the issue is being caused by something which has no body, no mind meat remaining to it, cannot therefore be placated or affected by mere ritual, which as I said, is something we humans involve ourselves in to make ourselves feel something is happening, or different or what have you. Its a crutch. Now, me? I am a Christian, and I believe that the vast majority of ritual associated with Christianity, and all religion for that matter, is bogus, its hookum, its basically a crutch for those who cannot retain faith without a series of neurological hacks, to keep the feel good factor high.

That is not going to wash with a situation in which the mortal coil and its weaknesses and strengths are irrelevant.

I saw the answer was given to you awhile back. In your words:

Standing in the centre of the burn site I asked what I could do and she answered plant herbs on her stolen land.

Sage and holy basil are positive cleansing herbs..

Holy basil is believed to clear the air of negative energy and attract positive vibrations to the environment.

Sage contains incredible cleansing qualities that help rid the air of negative emotions such as anger and fear.

I would do as you were asked to..just plant herbs..no harm in doing that.

Thanks,
