Here is a picture of Kittely several months ago. She had been living across the street, under an abandoned house, and decided, evidently, that she preferred a warm home and to be well fed. She's a little over a year old.

This photo is from about a week ago. I'm not sure if you can tell how much she's grown.

And you just happened to have a vacancy. Clever kitten!

I have had some extraordinary black cats over the years, very intelligent and characterful. My Stripey Princess, as beautiful as she is, is fearful, skittish and not overly well-endowed in the brains department, although she makes up for that in her hateful distain of all other humans but me.
