Wow. First time I've ever seen anything on the Huff that I actually agree with. MacFarlane pretty much nailed it, though. Trump is a con man, the sleazy Hollywood type that thrives there, that much was apparent. A successful con man for broad swaths of the country.

Believe it or not, though, I think he will be good for this country. Not because he is wise, or competent, or capable. Not because he has picked good, solid, competent, trustworthy people to his cabinet (Matthis is the only exception). And certainly not because I believe any of his ideas are good, or even feasible.

I think his administration is going to be so loose, chaotic, and corrupt that it will actually erode the establishment, and this whole house of cards will finally collapse, and the Establishment might finally crack. And the dice will finally have a flat surface to settle on.

That's actually what this country needs if we really want to see change.

Everyone in Hollywood knows these are the guys to steer clear of. It's sad to see the country get duped by it... and right now so many of the guys who criticized him are now on their knees for him.

Wait, are you really acting like Hollywood has some kind of moral high ground on anybody?

They are all a bunch of damn Luciferians anyways, thats the real reason they voted for Hillary, Trump is not Satanic enough for them.

In ancient Rome, actors were considered lower than the beggars and prostitutes. I most definitely see why. But not our society, oh no. We give them lots and lots of money, put them on a pedestal, and even pay attention to the dumb things they say.

Meh. I'll still watch Family Guy. It's a dopey cartoon that makes me chuckle every now and then (oh well, I guess that makes me dumb, I don't mind or am too proud to say I get a laugh out of it).

Seth's opinion on Trump though is completely stupid... - In my opinion. But who cares? Just cause I don't agree with the bloke doesn't mean I cant enjoy his craft!

We have to stop this BS left-side right-side ongoing boring war of civilizational stale-mate. There's daft and dozey buggers on both sides, but until we can just accept that we all have different thoughts and just get on with working together to improve our respective countries then what is the point?

Each side is sitting in a dunny trying to yank the flusher. Maybe this is what happens at the peak of civilization? People's lives have become so easy, that the human drive to improve your lot in life is turned into pointless spiteful blustering while Rome burns.

Anyhoo, have a good one.

What the hell are you talking about? You think everyone outside of Cali is stupid? I'd take the devil over Hillary and I think if you did research you would too.

The truth is Hollywood lives in it's own bubble, and most celebrities are completely disconnected from the struggles and sentiments of the average person in this country.

Celebrities Should Shut Up About Politics, Says Mark Wahlberg

“A lot of celebrities did, do, and shouldn’t [talk politics],” he told Task & Purpose magazine. “They might buy your CD or watch your movie, but you don’t put food on their table. You don’t pay their bills. A lot of Hollywood is living in a bubble. They’re pretty out of touch with the common person, the everyday guy out there providing for their family.”

As for Seth Macfarlane, he insults literally everyone for 18 years... then quits twitter after 1 day of trolling. I guess he doesn't like the taste of his own medicine?

Isn't that the answer the Trumpettes ALWAYS use? When someone questions a clearly valid failing of Trump, rather than defend the man on facts the argument immediately becomes 'But Hillary...' and then all the rest of the faithful flag the crap out of the post as if it had any merit whatsoever. You people keep using 'But Hillary' cause you have nothing real with which to defend your man. 'Ignore the man behind the curtain. There's nothing to see here'. Just wait, it's going to get a lot better very soon.

Thanks, but I'm not a Trumpette, Trumptard, or Trumpasaurous!

I've stated many times on this site that I don't vote and have very little interest in politics.

But what's plain to see is plain to see for all

When I hear people talk about Hillary or Hollywood as satanic, luciferian, or of the devil... this is what it makes me think of...

And I'm sorry your taken in by the MSM narrative.

As for Seth McFarland, he can keep his opinions. He's an entertainer as they all are. A literal remote control button. On/Off.

How are his opinions any less important than yours???

So he's an entertainer, so what??? I like entertainment and so do you and so does everyone else in the world. How is that a bad thing???

So making jokes and cartoons which you personally don't like now makes someone a sick scumbag???

That line of thinking seems reasonable to you does it???

You've never seen a Trump supporter I see. Oh you'll show me a fringe group that supports him...Clinton has very few actual supporters. Look at her rallies. Jesus, your threads are repetitive. The same anti-Trump tripe every time.

Except she has approximately 2.5 million more votes than Trump.

all from one state.

Why do they think that we care about their opinion?

Even if you don't agree with his comments regarding Trump, you cannot deny that he is an intelligent, hard-working and highly-skilled voice actor who is also capable of making millions of people around the world laugh.

Some people utilise a counter-productive mentality where they project their extreme disagreement of other people's views and turn it into finding fault and dislike for the person's character and attributes. Which is really a form of character assassination used to discredit their views. A vicious cycle.

I think many people in this thread secretly feel threatened that somebody with such a far-reaching audience speaks their mind on political issues and this angers them greatly.

I disagree with MacFarlane's views, but acknowledge that he has the right to air them publicly.

Probably the same reason anyone thinks anyone else cares about their opinion.

For the same reason you think others care about your opinion.

Is it really that difficult to figure out??? I mean you're here right now giving us your opinion because you think others care what you think. So why wouldn't they think the very same thing as you do???

You're right. What really need is a billionaire. Who better to "Understand America"? Who else but a billionaire (who is also a Hollywood billionaire...) could be the voice of hard pressed Americans who suffer from a shrinking middle class? Yeah, that doesn't sound stupid at all.

Yep, this sounds about right...

We little people who are not among the Hollywood elite could never understand what kind of monster Trump is..
But thankfully we have celebrities who deal with these people all the time break it down for us…

I just thank God I have people like Seth MacFarlane to explain to me how I don't understand who I voted for because I'm not smart enough to be a Hollywood person...

Thanks Seth and I look forward to more fart jokes in your high-minded comedy...

-Chris
