Just a quick shout but mods can dish out a warning even if something doesn't officially break the terms and conditions. They can also just ignore your questions lol.

I had a warning recently for using a word which is not on the banned list, so I messaged asking for clarification....crickets

Not that I give a toss, I'm here for amusement and I find it on ATS.
The mods actually do an overall good job here, they're equally fallible humans as the rest of us.

You're kidding, right?

Which statement do you think was kidding?
The cost of the background colour? No, we had to sacrifice points to make certain kinds of alterations.
Stats being unreadable against the default? No, that's the truth as well. I needed to keep track of my post numbers, because larger posting totals would qualify me to make larger opening posts, and I was writing on Revelation at the time.

Hm. Well, I'm glad they've abandoned this idea.

What do you have to gain from contacting a mod about it? Unless you've had prior contact with the mod and know them to be a decent sort, I would recommend against contacting them about a warning or anything of the kind.

Yeah and what do the 500 points come out of?

lol. Where is the total points?

Just ask the mod politely.

Every mod becomes a super mod once they reach 50,000,000 points deducted from members. I was saving mine up for a super awesome decoder ring too.

I thought we weren't supposed to discuss mod actions outside U2U's?

Consider this a warning

Lol, I think it is okay if specific mods/members are not named.
I could be wrong of course not that I give a toss to be fair, it's a game.
A mod can delete on a whim even if no rules are broken, they will of course be backed up in the style club bouncers back each other up.

It's a private enterprise not a democracy and long may it continue.
It would be pretty crap here without the overall decent mods.

I got one as well, I thought I was being fairly good. But we don't want to get ATS sued, for posting anything that could tie the site up with regards to litigation. I'm assuming that if we quote another site which isn't on the banned list we will be ok.

Eh? What? You and me had a conversation about it. Don't be a 'twit' about it.

a reply to: Char-Lee

It says not to respond, I don't know what caused the warning so I don't know how not to get another?

See which mod's name is attached to the PM and contact them. They'll always explain why they took the action.

Question answered.
