I suggest you buy a metal detector. Those are fun to use anyway.

Just 1st impression. Watch...regular or pocket, something about the color blue, either case, or container, or where located. Underneath something else. Not misplaced or lost..in a location "overlooked".

Grandparent, parent or former "significant other".... Find it in or with something else.

Did you move recently? Another home? Room? Floor? City? State? Something with moving...a single tree in yard? Upstairs bedroom or apartment window has something to do with things...?

ADD: A white car?

so you got a couple things close, not necessarily to do with the object but still very interesting.
First it was in a location "overlooked".
Second I did just move, with my significant other, into my grandmothers old house.
Third, while there is more than one tree in the yard, there is a prominent one, and parked in the driveway is my white car. Tell me the make and il be really impressed.

The wedding band that was lost awhile back was found under the washing machine/dryer...seems to have been spouse, ex-spouse, or one heck of a fight about losing it. There separation between you & the person who lost that one.

Your friend got a few things right. It was a ring, the dog bed it was found next to is a mahogany color, it was in the living room, and in the carpet. Well done.

A Mason's lapel-pin. An heirloom piece (like my grandpa's jade and ivory artifacts). And it's in the bed of someone else.

Or whatever.

It was found right next to the dogs bed which is technically someone else's bed so I think that counts for a point.

The object is mainly a black/dark gray color and the hand hammering reflects light in different directions kind of like a diamond does, so not bad.

Makes are hard due to look a likes like a Pontiac Trans Am looks like a Chevy Camaro...but my immediate impression was Saab...or something foreign...or a larger older American made boxy one

I'm giving this zero effort...but if I had time and quiet space...I wold get more. I've been 85% most of my life....not always nor every time.

Well then, good. I place the realization of this as one of two things...equally as important. Im either right about more than a few things...or you could be lying just to drop on me and make me look bad. But, I dont really suspect that...but need to say...Im aware as much...or more...of that as well as any observations.

Having a good track record (as a sensitive and not a remote viewer) is irrelevant if one doesnt accept I can, have been before...and will surely be again...at times be wrong. And I do have one, but am better sensing things around places, people, objects etc...and have made a few friends here by giving my impressions.

Question? Perhaps the drive is gravel? Or Im seeing somewhere near...and the large tree? Looking out an upstairs window...to the right? (Or to the left of the porch (Same thing) in front? Again, I could be looking elsewhere..

I know the object has already been found but a zippo was what I saw as well. No location just a clear image in my mind of a Zippo.

It's a small square object and it is in the couch.

Edit :just read the above post .. I am the 3rd to say couch? And though I said small square item, my first thought was strangely cardboard or wood. Also..not your couch, someone else's.

The drive is half gravel half asphalt, and there is a large pine tree pretty much splitting the two.

And don't worry I'd never lie to lead you on and try to make you look bad, I may have a dark sense of humor but I'm no troll.

No! Apologies if taken wrong. Not my intention...as I said. I didn't think you were...but I have had a few trolls jump out from under the bridge so to speak. I just roll with it.

I had a few immediate impressions the 1st posy of yours. They come in flashes quickly like a movie in fast forward. I never really know the context until later...unless I'm going for something specifically asked.

If I get up suddenly in a line or store....my wife knows its something negative I picked up on. Its been a struggle at times in my life because they come at me constantly. But I've learned to tune it out....
