Trump Laments ‘Sad’ Waste of Time and Money on Upcoming Recount

Trump seems confident this whole fiasco is a bunch of Bull Crap. I believe He's right.

President-elect Donald Trump, in a series of early morning tweets, lamented the “sad” waste of time and money about to be directed to vote recounts in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. If Green Party candidate Jill Stein initiates recounts in those states as she intends, Democrat Hillary Clinton’s campaign “will participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides,” Clinton campaign lawyer Marc Elias said Saturday. Elias, in a post on the blogging website Medium, added that he doesn’t expect the action to overturn Trump’s election.

He detailed exhaustive efforts already undertaken by the Democrat’s team to assure the validity of the Nov. 8 election. Trump, in a series of seven posts on Twitter on Sunday, recounted previous comments by Clinton on the need to accept the election results, culminating in her concession speech. “So much time and money will be spent - same result! Sad,” Trump concluded. The president-elect is spending the weekend at his golf resort, Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, before returning to New York to resume interviewing potential hires for top administration posts.

‘Demoralized’ Democrats “The Green Party scam to fill up their coffers by asking for impossible recounts is now being joined by the badly defeated and demoralized” Democrats, Trump said of the recount effort in a tweet on Saturday. A separate statement by the president-elect focused mostly on Stein. “The people have spoken and the election is over, and as Hillary Clinton herself said on election night, in addition to her conceding by congratulating me, ‘We must accept this result and then look to the future,’” he said.

You have no idea what he'd do. I won't even speculate what Trump would do, but I knew he'd win from the start so it's never been a question for me.

As long as they are checking for voter fraud I'm fine with it but I doubt it. If they check for fraud Democrats will be more unhappy.

The elites have been playing this game for a long time, divide and conquer, and clearly they're winning while you blame liberals for all the countries problems. No solutions, just constant finger pointing.

On the contrary, I've freely admitted Trump's shortcomings. In fact, I've likened him to a fourth grader several times and much, much worse. But I do believe in the rule of law and in the value of our institutions. The left seems hell bent on otherwise. Moreover, you'll have to excuse me if I find your current plea for discussion of the 'issues' less than genuine, since so many on the left have spent so much of their time painting my view as an inherently privileged, out-of-touch, racist, simply because I disagree with them.

Moreover, I've followed your posts. Are you suggesting you're ready for rational, calm and honest discussion? Because I have great difficulty in separating your perspective from the BS I've seen from the rest of the leftist sheep.

I noticed that Hillary is looking at Michigan because she is astounded that over 87,000+ voters showed up to vote. They only voted for some obscure down ticket issue and did NOT vote for a President. It was left blank...no write ins...no nothing. Apparently, her and Jill believe that the only possible reason is that they were not legible. They cannot fathom why so many would just waste their time to vote for obscure candidate and not for one of them.

I personally believe that more than anything it was a snub to have a voice. They didn't like any of the options, wanted to say so...and to show that they are not just some lazy voter...they actually showed up to vote. If anything...saying nothing...says a lot!
